Anybody who knows what they're doing doesn't need a bunch of guiderails on what counts as a "deadlift".
The most basic lift in existence, and he can’t figure out on his own how to do it properly.
Oh I agree if you pick it up it should count. But it never seems to work that way when I do a lift here. Its you didn't reset or you bounced or you wore straps or shook or failed to pause and sing a song always some bullshit. As such I want a list of any and all potential disqualifications first
Anyone who does 405 which was that tough, has no fucking clue how much an additional 50 pounds of weight added to it would bury him...............he wouldn`t get it off the floor 5 inches........straps or no straps.50 pounds is a ton of weight when the 405 was that rough.Clueleless "Lifter" Of Peace

You would have said the same thing about 405lbs before I did it. When asked why I thought I could pull weight I said I pulled 420 and it wasn't that hard. Everyone said that was a trap bar and a regular one is harder so I loaded up 405 on the regular and pulled it. It did not seem harder. I do admit I should probably take one day doing lighter weight to fix my form before going heavier but I can go heavier
50 pounds is a ton of weight to add in a lift which you have very little experience doing.especially since the 405 was no cakewalk.Don`t tell me what I would have said,I fucking know what I`m talking about.Pull 455 and prove me wrong..........it would take you months of training if not longer.......just facts man.

He uses unusual definitions of the words "max", "can", and "now".We are not dealing with a garden-variety idiot here, it takes a special kind of idiot to beat their chest for months about how they can pull 500 lbs, then show up peacocking about doing 405x1 with straps.
It`s not a good lift if you just pick it up........just as your 315 bench press,though you did get it, was terrible.Form needs to be taken into account unless you are Matt C. who competes in "strongman" where form doesn`t count.
