I think HIT training can work for some muscle groups - but not biceps. Probably not triceps either. I think they need higher reps for growth.

Although I would also argue that the literature seems pretty clear: higher rep ranges are more effective.

And it's literally something as high as 35-50 reps that is the end of the effective muscle building range. That surprised me. The magazines always said 8-12. Jeff Nippard reported 35 or more, in a video. He may have been reporting on a meta-analysis.

Regarding Dorian: didn't he say that part of the reason he tore his biceps was training after the 1994 Mr. Olympia while still being extremely lean and dry? I recall reading that in a magazine.

They key to growth for decades now has been steroids.  They work.   I agree with IroNat in that many people tear their  biceps/triceps, etc. because on steroids the increase in strength is quite often dramatically exponential and their tendons cannot adapt quick enough. 

But just about any training when on steroids, especially a shitton of 'em, will result in tremendous muscular strength and size in relatively very little time.

Yeah but Dorian is still alive unlike the guy you follow..forget his name. I certainly don't use weights like in the video but I suppose even a light weight could also injure you.
So really it's the movement itself.
Personally I've always preferred dips to flat bench press.
