Hankins is a man child and its been proven over an over he can't be in public or in a social setting. He hasn't once ever said oh my buddies are coming over for a bbq, swim in the pool etc.. His one friend is Spencer and this is by defualt.  Once he gets older he will stop talking to Brian just like his brother did.
