Cut my teeth on it Coach.. from May 19 1982 when I joined the Military to June 15th 2016 when I retired.

While I am very well versed on the 2nd Amendment to the point it would be over your head, 200+ years later, I would be ok with  ANOTHER amendment that addressed assault rifles.. But I have also stated that I realize the horses are out of the barn and anything we do now would be impotent

If you look at FBI homicide stats more people are killed with knifes and even unarmed attacks than rifles of all kinds that they lump so called assault weapons in.  The firearm choice overwhelmingly in homicides is handguns. Again the FBI doesn't have a separate category for assault rifles, they lump them in with all rifles of any type in their stats that increases the number when a so called assault rifle argument is used by the left.

 The true number for murders that are semi automatic with a black plastic stock is really low.  It's feel good legislation.  A mini 14 with a wood stock is okay but make the same round firing AR clone it becomes an evil instrument.

I live in NJ where they always pass liberal feel good firearm legislation. Hollow points are out lawed for civilians to carry because they are too deadly while every armed force across the world carries full metal jacket. NJ out lawed sling shots because it feels good. If you want to buy a Red Ryder bb gun with the compass in the stock you have to be fingerprinted, criminal back ground and get metal health record researched to get what's called a firearm purchaser's card.  Across the nation a federal law LEOSA says retired cops can carry in any state. NJ fought this and want their own law for retired cops to carry. They recently lost this in court but are appealing it.

In Brazil the new communist gun law is something like this:

"Permitted" calibers: .22, .32, 380, .38 in legal limbo due to joules numbers, 357 only for rifles, .38 for rifles, shotguns 16 and lower only single shot.
Almost impossible to get right now due to the need to justify your need to a police chief. Maybe if you are old friends, he gives you a permission. By standard it's denied.
Psychological exams, Practical tests, Clean criminal record, Permanent address, Being Employed. All valid for three years, when everything must de redone.
You can buy amazing 50 rounds per year for each of the 2 guns you are allowed to have.

Restricted calibers: Calibers higher than the "permitted" including 9mm, and semi auto shotguns are only for military and police forces.

CCW: Police forces, Politicians, Rich people friends of politicians, Judges and some High government positions.

Wanted to take a moment here to thank all of those who spoke out about the threat to me and my family by a member that is now banned. Some of you are people I have agreed with, some are folks I disagreed with. It speaks volumes to me when someone on the other side of the debate speaks out on my behalf. Just know I would do the same.. and for those who saw the comments and ignored them, one is a moderator here...  well.. whatever

Ron, OMR, kudos for reaching out. While I know Getbig is and can be a bit rambunctious and rules pushed to the limite all the time, there are times when a wake up call needs to be sent. They did that. Thank you.

Did this NOT ring a moderator bell for you???  If you are truly that clueless as to what is happening on a thread you are active in.. maybe... turn that moderator badge in so someone who cares can help out? Fortunately, other's stepped up and banned him. But I was hoping that wouldn't be necessary and you would do it. I'm actually curious as to why you didn't. Is it my political stance is not in line with yours? Or are you brain dead? I'm just trying to figure out how that bile got past you on at thread YOU were active in

Banning can be a useless endeavor. Takes a few mins to grab a new email addy, sign up under another name, etc.
Acct approval though takes a while here it seems, but RO will be back... I agree with a lot of what he posed. Just not threats, we dont need that stuff.

Wow, that is restricted. In a crime ridden country like Brazil it's the wrong way to go.  Democrats in the US would love to limit gun owners to one box of ammo a year.

When you were a beat cop wandering the streets with your nightstick were you responsible for every crime whether you were clocked in or not?  What about all of the crimes you never solved "detective"? Shouldn't you do your job and solve those crimes instead of retiring so families can get some closure and criminals are prosecuted since you were active on those cases right?

Threats off this board are out of order & itīs not really the Mods fault if it happens as this is as i wrote off the boards.
however the posting of family & friends pictures by a few people on here sucks.
as Ron wrote discussions but not threats to family members or girl friends.

Sometimes it's up to the citizens (getbiggers) to police themselves. Did you report the post or posts? Did you send a PM asking for those posts to be reviewed or deleted? You are correct. I don't know for a fact you saw the offensive posts in this thread you had posted in. In fact, I will take you at your word and apologize for calling you out for ignoring it. It was handled by OMR. I made the assumption that since you were active in this thread you had seen it. Apparently I was wrong.

3. But IF you take the title, then when someone violates the rules of the forum you warn or ban depending on the severity. I think I sent a request in years ago to remove the rule about racism.. as no one enforces it. If you are going to have rules, and not enforce them, get rid of the rules. It leaves the chance for selective enforcement  to take place. I pesonally don't know what Strawman did to get banned, but was it worse than the almost daily racist comments?

But truly, all I expect is when someone threatens another and their family, it should be immediately dealt with. That seems like a no brainer.

however, how many posts are made here across all forums on a daily basis?  We can't be expected to see everything.  A PM or report on such occurrences is usually the best way to deal with that crap.
