Just watched first 2 series of Killing Eve

not bad,,,,

If you plan on watching this do not watch the third series, its fucking shit, must have been different writers

The end of the second series leaves you making your own mid up about the end.

I just watched Copland the other day on Paramount Plus, it's actually a pretty good movie I thought it sucked first time I watched it like 20 years ago.

Definitely a good flick.

Don't like Jack Palance or Alien-movies or what?
Didn't you enjoy the Movie Predator?

Same actor playing both Aliens (Kevin Peter Hall at 216 cm)

Oh I enjoy alien films

And Palance pieces (let's not forget Martin Landau and as young David Caruso)

But that film was absolutely awful

Good film. Very, very gritty and depressing. Ending with the snow blizzard was something else.

One film that's not often mentioned yet I find very well done given the low budget is Sporloos/The Vanishing, 1988. Kubrick phoned the director up after watching it 10 times in a row telling him how creeped out he was by it. Says a lot if Kubrick found it fascinating.

Full movie is available free on YouTube on this link if anyone's interested.

Sam Was Here (gets sort of shitty reviews but I liked it)...

Shudder

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt5736592/

Sam, a door-to-door salesman, travels through the desert in search of clients, yet the area seems deserted. His wife won't answer his phone calls, and everyone seems to be avoiding him. His only contact with the outside world is a local radio station. The strange host, Eddy, takes calls regarding a child killer at large, and pushes listeners to hunt the man to death. Then Sam starts getting harassing calls on his pager. What is the cause of all this?

I know exactly what you mean!

I don't really know why, but I'd just never hooked up an aerial to get FreeView before - but I recently plugged in and now all I (re)watch are Classics like Flight of the Phoenix, The Black Shield of Falworth, Kelly's Heroes, etc.

I'm also reliving my youth through re-runs of the Six Million Dollar Man and loving it (true) 8)

Anyone watched The Creator yet?  Thinking about getting hold of it

I cancelled Netflix 2 weeks ago..........shitty channel, and it got worse after 2 years of paying for bullshit.

People talk about the streaming services failing because of inflation and all that.

But the reality is, Hollywood is no longer producing content that is tolerable for conservatives.

If you had Netflix 10 years ago, you watched the majority of their catalog that doesn't suck.

2014 was more or less the year where new content was worth watching. I have no idea what made 2014 so important, but you could just see everything hitting a brick wall.

Walking Dead, Mad Men, Breaking Bad, Hell on Wheels, Boardwalk Empire etc was all great. And then boom not a drop of content that is worth watching.
