He also claimed he could do 405 on squats for reps but nearly blew his asshole out for good getting 365 for 1.

Thread delivers.

There is a lot to address here.

First off - wes: thank you for the support!

I feel like I am extremely realistic about my lifts. I would be confident in putting this to the test, to see what's what.

If you peruse my Instagram posts, it's very clear where I'm at and why - I've been on a hypertrophy program all summer, so of course I'm not at my strongest. I started training for strength again on September 1st, and benched 295-lb right off the bat, which B. Hank takes to mean that's where I'm at, as if I won't be back to 315x8 again, like clockwork, just from muscle memory.

For this reason, I'd like to put this to a test with a 01-01-2024 deadline. I'm confident I can best B. Hank's lifts while giving him a 30-lb body weight advantage.

Obviously, there is no way to test for anabolics, but...I would be willing to prove I weigh in at 190, and allow B. Hank to weigh in at 220. I'm confident in my lifts at 170 - and especially at 190.

To address some B. Hank's negative comments about my lifts.

I have also pressed 350lbs for 2 reps something Matt has never come close to doing.

For some reason, you need to frame everything like a competition, and it's not good enough for you to merely acknowledge that you pressed slightly more than I did [while weighing 220+, a full 50-lb heavier than me when I pressed 340], you need to describe it like it wasn't even close [when it was extremely close].

Here's 320x6 while weighing 170 - I forgot that the bar there weighed 50-lb, making this 320-lb:

https://www.instagram.com/reel/CeN1RWeADHv/

250x18, with gym form / bounced reps:

https://www.instagram.com/tv/CeldRFRAoOS/

This one is more recent - I benched 250x6, with around a 0.6s pause between reps, up to 0.8s of a full second for some reps:

https://www.instagram.com/reel/CxuEwWut2AE/

Here's my 225x25 bench press, while nearly a decade since my most recent injectable gear cycle [2006], with 30 days of 15-20mg daily Dianabol for a month in 2008 in there, still YEARS before hitting this:

In what world is a person who does 320x6 has that person "never come close to doing" 350x2?  ???

My PR/max bench presses of 340 @170 and 345 @183 are both very close to your PR/max bench press of 350 for 2, and you were likely 220 or 230 when you pressed it.

Matt also uses anabolic he is not a natural athlete.

The number of cycles I have done over the past 19 years since my first one, I can count on my hands. And most have been wussy oral-only cycles.

Whilst I can say that when I LOOKED my best, I WAS using steroid, that is not the case with my max lifts. In all cases, I was not only clean, but off for YEARS.

A 2006 cycle can't be given credit for PR's achieved years later.

But honestly I don't care what he lifts because none of that changes the fact he doesn't know how to hold a fucking dumbbell. That is why its rolling his wrist backwards and sliding out of his hand at a 45 degree angle fucking morons. He could probably lift more if he learned how to hold a dumbbell. He would also get a lot more development if he stopped ego throwing shit around. Who the fuck talks about maxing out machines and record leg presses and half rep shoulder presses?

Both give an idea of a person's strength level. I have an issue with knee valgus, and I want to comfortably leg press 1,000-lb before going back to squats.

Anyone can diminish any lift if you want. Someone can say the same thing about your max strict curl - that is a very unorthodox strength lift. But it still shows what your biceps strength is, so it's fine. Why don't you focus on max deadlift strength, or another more traditional strength test?

I'm sure you have your reasons.

My reasons are:
Bodybuilding is extremely fake. And I don't want to hit certain strength targets, only to not be that strong all the time.

My strength goals are LIFETIME goals intended to be MAINTAINED. I know I'll get back to a 500+ deadlift, so my goal is to get that as close to 550 as possible, then to MAINTAIN that. I don't want to get to 510-530-550 [where ever I land], only to drop back to 450-lb, and wax and wane.

Since my goals are LIFETIME goals [both as strong as I want to get AND numbers I want to maintain for as long as I possibly can], I am in no rush to get there.

That also explains my unorthodox style.

As long as I'm moving closer to my goals each workouts what's the problem?

You critique the unorthodox way I do things, while you have an unorthodox strength record on here for the strict curl. Who cares if it's a weird lift, if you have the board record [assuming you do]?

Also, for the tenth time - my dumbbell presses are NOT half reps - they are marginally imperfect reps with good weight, and still more than you overhead press, so I don't know why you're judging my form.

There is NOTHING wrong with this depth - but of course you you go lower than I do...you are pressing 50-lb dumbbells. This form is fine, and it's using actual decent weight:

Ronnie Coleman maxed out his gyms leg press after he did his 800x2 squat in a suit. It was a good test of his leg strength.

Every time he writes about lifting he is dropping 50lbs in bodyweight then adding 50lbs to his lift and then saying that would be good lift at that weight right but he doesn't weigh that and doesn't lift that not even close.

I'm ~200, and could probably pull an ugly ~500 literally in my next back workout, and in two weeks, I could be ~190 pulling a cleaner ~500 again, then bringing that DL up, and bringing my body weight closer to 185.

You continually project your own goals and techniques on people. My goal is to get as close as I possibly can to a bench/squat/deadlift of 350/450/550 [with gym form, knee wraps, a belt, and straps/chalk], and improve my body composition and get down to 185 body weight, or whatever is a healthy weight for me with a good look that I can maintain for years, if not decades.

I am achieving this firstly by getting my lifts to those numbers...and THEN reevaluating and deciding what would be a healthy weight for me.

And it NEEDS to be a HEALTHY weight, and a look that I like...that I can MAINTAIN.

I'm in this for life. My goal isn't to just keep gaining more weight like you seem to be doing [as if being 238-lb is healthier than being 188-lb], and you are projecting your goals on me.

My goal is to get my strength and look at a level I can maintain, and to keep that look until I'm 45-50-55...as long I can do so, with my TOP priority/constraint being HEALTH.

What's wrong with that?

I have no reason to believe being 200+ is "healthier" than being 185.

It's not just about how much weight and muscle I can put on. You project your bodybuilding goals on others, from what I can tell.

Just barely, bouncing the bar off the pec(s), shaking like a leaf and could hardly rack it. Right after he went for hernia surgery.

So he claims to be stronger than me based on his previous lifetime max bench press of 350x2 being heavier than what I bench press currently, than says I can't use my previous best lifts to discuss my strength?  ???

Then he claims to be 238-lb in one thread, then picks his lowest walking around body weight of around 220-lb when talking about his max bench, to increase his publicly stated P4P strength.

If we're going based on historical lifts, I've bench pressed 345 at 183, and WAY drug-free [literally 3+ years since using any gear at that time. Seems to me that when B. Hank bench pressed 350x2 he weighed at 40-50 pounds heavier than me, and was actively on steroids during that lift.

Then he claims this:

I have also pressed 350lbs for 2 reps something Matt has never come close to doing.

 ??? ??? ???

Talk about foul and unnecessary language.

If we're doing a bench press contest, I'd like some time to prepare, but I'd be happy to do any of the following bench weights "for reps" - with my max reps lift for each weight shown after the dash:

135x47.
185x36
205x31
225x25
250x18
275x15
300x12
315x8
320x6
325x4
335x2
345x1

^ I'd be happy to do a bench press contest for any weight in there, for max reps. All I would ask is a minimum of two weeks to prepare.

Our lifetime top bench press maximums are extremely close, but I may have been 50-lb lighter. Gear or no gear, that's a huge weight advantage.

Furthermore, B. Hank says that I haven't done any sanctioned meets. Is he suggesting my lifts, almost all of which are recorded on video are not legitimate?

Was I using fake weights in front of 300+ people?  ???

That's why I'd like a contest to settle the question as to who is stronger - B. Hank or I?

As I've said previously, I'd be willing to give him a 30-lb weight advantage, and put the strict curl in there, and make it best 2 out of 3 - because I'm very confident I'll still out-lift him.

I don't make ridiculous comments claiming I will "destroy" B. Hank, or that he "won't even come close", but I am confident I will outlift him, even allowing him a large weight advantage.

I'm curious why B. Hank needs to use such language with me. It's like everything is a competition with him, where no one can be close to him for some reason.

You are projecting YOUR OWN GOALS HERE.

Do you think I - while eating 90 grams of protein a day, literally from 2000 to 2020 - gave TWO FUCKING SHITS about getting "more development"??

You don't gain muscle eating 90 grams of protein a day. You just don't.

And I KNEW that all along - so I trained in the low rep range, eating only 90 grams of protein per day, and eating in the 1,200 to 1,500 calories per day range, knowing that while I wasn't going to get significantly bigger due to my low caloric intake, that I could still get stronger.

But you project YOUR goals and interests on everyone else when talking about THEIR training. WHY would you assume that?

IMO, it would not be worth trading my sprint speed to be even the weight I am now - let alone get any heavier.

I don't want my face getting any fatter, and I have a hard time arguing my health hasn't diminished somewhat, just from being 200-lb...let alone if I pushed my weight up to nearly 240-lb like you have.

Furthermore...did you lose your hair from gear usage?

If so - why the FUCK would I want to lose a perfect head of hair, just to have a bigger physique? Again - you project a LOT.  If the choice was to be 170-lb with perfect hair and a thin face versus being 220-lb and balding with a fat face, I would rather be 170-lb.

Again, you project a lot.

I was NEVER training for "more development".

So all this time, you thought I was training one rep maximums while hitching the snot out of it and looking like I was about to explode because I was trying to build muscle? Lmao! 🤣

So you didn't spend 12 seconds minimally perusing any of my videos online to see that my goals had NOTHING to do with bodybuilding?

You thought I was just staying at 80-kg / 176-lb because I had no idea how to overcome that crazy plateau once I got that massive?  ??? ??? ::) ::)

Or MAYBE I decided to stay at a weight where my health / blood work and other health tests were PERFECT, and just stayed there?

You actually thought I was unable to develop beyond that point?  ::) Be it in size or strength?

In reality, I know EXACTLY what I would need to do to get to 210-lb...even 220-lb, and could go up from there?

Did it not occur to you that some people train for other reasons? Such as maximum strength at an optimal health body weight level?

Again - you project a LOT, B. Hank.

NONE of these men train for "more [bodybuilding] development". Not everyone has the same goals as you.

Matt you are ABSOLUTELY stronger than hanky.  hank says he "can" deadlift 500 but he's admitted to only deadlifting 365 for "reps".  He's never been close to a 500 lb deadlift.  He's probably never even had 500 pounds in his hands.  He will never deadlift 500.  He might get 250 by Halloween and probably tear his hernia mesh doing that pissant amount.  Then he'll keep lying with his "guesstimate" that he "could have" deadlifted 500.

He also claimed he could do 405 on squats for reps but nearly blew his asshole out for good getting 365 for 1.

He's also been on huge amounts of steroids for basically 20+ years straight.

Thank you for the information and good words, Sandrock.

At the time he bashed my 100-lb dumbbells seated overhead press, I was one of the only people here saying anything positive about him. Then he takes one of my best lifts, and trashes.

In fact, last year, I was training for the one-arm [Circus Dumbbell] press Canadian record in the 80-kg / 176.4-lb class.

The record at the time was 154.6-lb, and I was going to get 155-lb and beat it.

But then a 176-lb'er named William G. Murray [Bill Murray, lol] got 180-lb at 176-lb body weight, and that's when I decided to bail on attempting that record.

But my presses are very good, and I wouldn't be thinking of even obscure Canadian records if I didn't have good presses.

I mean...is B. Hank suggesting that he can get the 100's for more than six reps using the same form as I did?

Also, he said Big Ro's form was much better than mine. Really? I agree that Big Ro is going slightly lower, while holding the dumbbells upright, and gets 14 reps to my 6, but is this minor increase in rep depth what we are squabbling about?  ::)

B. Hank rejects others having better physiques than him because they are posting a photo from last season...meanwhile, he's basing his strength claims on lifts he did five years ago.  ::)

That's why I would like this to get settled.

Getbig Strength Challenge:

[1] 405-lb Deadlift. Max reps in five minutes. Belt, chalk, and straps allowed. Deadlift can be held in lock-out position in between reps. Once both hands come off bar, the event is over.

[2] 315-lb Bench Press. Max reps in [?? Time]. Belt, wrist wraps allowed. A mod can make a call on elbow sleeves. Same rule for holding the bar between reps, I would say. A failure to complete a rep means the event is over.

[3] Max strict curl. I'm putting this one in so B. Hank can best me in one.

[4] Best 2 out of 3 wins the contest.

[5] Gaylord Getbigger Walter Sobchak has volunteered to suck the cock of the loser, since he isn't strong enough to enter the contest himself. ;D

...

No, but seriously:
Can we do this?

We haven't had a Getbig contest since the 225-lb for max reps deadlift contest in 2007 - that's 16 years ago now!

Cuck Canning Vs Cuck Hankins

I will have to give this battle to Double C. He’s on 99.9% less gear and out lifts 20 years of non stop Hankins

You form sucked you didn't go low enough and you didn't get 6 reps you don't know how to hold a dumbbell

Fuck a belt, sleeves, reps, and wraps weigh whatever the fuck you want. I plan to attempt a max bench single by year end regardless of what anyone else does by all means do the same.

But no I am not maxing shit today or in 2 weeks my midsection feels weird and has swelling

 :)

As you can tell, bhank is not really interested in real lifting or strength and doesn't know much about it either. He is just jealous and desperate for the attention and approval of other men by any means. He constantly lies and misrepresents everything he does. He won't commit to any strength challenge and will find some last moment excuse to weasel his way out. You've made progress over the last 20 years, bhank has made zero progress despite being on drugs all that time. Pound for pound you crush him, and at the same bodyweight you would humiliate him.

This challenge was for Janaury next year

and brian yet again has run away

Matt- notice how brian has never put a video of him pressing the 50k bells? Ask why?

I am literally one of like 3-4 people here who actually post lifts and holds myself accountable with photos. I have told everyone I plan to post max lifts by year end. I am not currently posting max lifts as I am still in surgical rehab mode. Funny how everyone wants to challenge and see me max out now pussies. But by all means you are all welcome to post your lifts at anytime. You don't have to wait on me to set the bar. It's not complicated go film yourself maxing out a lift in whatever you want and post it. We don't need a complicated competition with 1000 rules and dates and weigh ins and selection of lift anyone can post any lift at anytime. By all means start posting some lifts bitches. How many have you posted? 0 fucking 0 lets see you lift something anything same for all you other bitches who want to talk shit by all means post your lifts. I challenge you to this and that with these rules on that day shut the fuck up and just post a lift

Brian a year ago I offered to fly you to the UK to fight me

All expenses paid

You refused

Why?

Because you are a coward.

You 'laughed at Jane'

She challenged you to 60m 100m.

You laughed again.

Turns out she is fuckin elite.

The laugh stopped the excuses cane out.

Why?

Because you are a coward.

You laughed at Krank saying his training was a joke.

You said you would outlift him on any lift any time.

He did an OHS.

You brought out the excuses.

Why?

Because you are a coward.

Matt suppported you.
You then tried to slate him for doing something none of us have any seen you do. 50k dumbell press.
Matt challenged you to a 3 lift competition in January.
The excuses came out.
Why?
Because you are a coward.

How do we know Jane is elite because she says so? And who fucking cares if you lose a 60m race anyway the point is I am quite capable of running a sprint. And for fuck sake what part of I already planned to share my max lifts before January anyway did you miss. Same thing with Krank if he wants to put up his lifts and compare, he is more than welcome but he knows damn well don't nobody train any godamn ohs and he also knows I just had surgery and now wants to have a lift off with me are you kidding?
