For a start he isn't on the owners list of any of the winners https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Florida_Derby

Also a horse can go to stud around 100 times a year. Max maybe 150 at peak fertility. This means the stud fee must be around $150k to $200k to bring in $20M a year. None of the horses on that list owned by syndicates come close to that.
