Vasectomy Experiences
« on: October 30, 2023, 01:14:46 AM »
I was born with two balls and still have 'em - but they aren't connected to anything.

How many of you are now firing on zero cylinders? Had the sac rewired?

How did it go for you?

Same. One ex kept badgering me about having kids. The paranoia of her tricks was getting to me - was going to go through with it.

Let's hope they are not hanging lower than your dick. For locker room purposes.

Went great for me, zero issues and all the costs were covered by the clinic for some reason  ???

It was kinda scary busting a nut for the first time afterwards, but otherwise it was just smooth sailing.  Never pulling out ever again  :D

We're talking vasectomy not removing testicles.

A vasectomy will not affect a man's virility or his testosterone level. He will still produce sperm. It will just not be able to get into the semen. There will be NO impact on his libido, sex drive, or sexual activity.

The dr told me I was responsible for shaving down there

Although I don’t think I could ever go back to that barber

When is the male pill going to be released? It exists now but I'm guessing they don't really want men to have control over their reproductive rights.

I got mine done in Bangkok - before the op, the doctor warned me it would be painful - like a kick in the nuts. Seemed a fair price to pay for no more kids, so I went for it.

First warning sign was when I got into the theater, they strapped my ankles to the bed. Not my whole body, just my ankles. I asked why and they said "to stop you falling off". Which I translated as "to stop you kicking the doctor". They also put on a blindfold for my modesty (a cultural thing_)

Buckle up.

They put a local anaesthetic on my sac, so the incision didn't hurt. But there was no pain relief other than that. When he cut the first tube - it was like being kicked in the nuts - and continued to feel like that while he tied the tube off. 30 Seconds and we were done.

But the 2nd tube. All I can think is that he cut it too short, so didn't have enough there to make a good knot. A bit like when you were a kid and your shoelaces broke and you had to try and make a knot with 3cm on each side. So there he is - fumbling around - and all the time he does so, it feels like the worst ball pain I've ever had.  I'd say it took him a good 5 mins to tie it off, all the time the nurses were consoling me.

Now - why don't they give you a vicodin or something - well opiates are frowned upon here and only used for end of life care.

Anyway - I would not advise a vasectomy in Bangkok. It's brutal. At least now I know how women feel in childbirth...

They exist but an unfavorable side effect profile makes it unlikely that it’ll ever reach market.

I'm guessing he came off his weekly 500 mg trt dose that crushed his test.. not the vasectomy.

Bhanky has posted some interesting info about this.

It apparently can happen.

Who knew?

Nice going, Bhanky.

x2

Good info to look into.  The risk of complications is real but fortunately small.
