You are just talking nonsense I can not make 185lbs

What condition prevents you from doing that?   Why is that nonsense?

You have LITERALLY said you would be in the hospital if you tried to get to 185.   Why is this?  You know all of your other conditions....why should this be any different??

Yes you can. Some years back I had a fighter that got a call for his first fight in the UFC on two weeks notice. Didn’t want to pass on his opportunity. I brought him down from 215 to a little under 190 and they allowed a catch weight for the fight. It was a brutal cut but he made it and carried more muscle than you before the cut.

That was an exception. If you know 6,8 or even 10-12 weeks ahead of your fight date, there is zero reason why you couldn’t make 185. If you’re going to fight, fight. If you’re going in worrying about how you LOOK and losing muscle then don’t fight because that will be your mind fuck going in.

Cool story can you make 130lbs? Can get in the cage and fight in the 130lb weight class? What if you were in a coma and lost both legs could you make it then? STFU

Equally cool story bro.    I am 200lbs.   Why would I drop 70lbs?   You have to drop 20?  30? lbs   You fear it because you MENTALLY couldn't handle the loss of your drugged up muscles.

Again, tell everyone why you can't do it.....where's this "cassandra syndrome"  bullshit.   Simply say "I don't want to fight at that weight because I mentally can't handle it".   THAT is the truth.

BINGO!!!!!   Someone with hard core experience telling it like it is.   Be careful Joe...now you are going to be labeled a HATER

Joe, you've personally suffered on a prep....your pics blow Brian out of the water.  You've coached a lot of fighters with weight cuts.  You know the ones who will stay the course and get the job done.  Again, you have personal experience with it.  I am sure you would agree that the ones who say that "can't" are really the ones who are saying "that's too tough for me to do".

I liken Brian to that kid many years ago on TUF who couldn't handle the sauna/weight cut and got kicked off the show.  Mentally weak.

Coach, you must have missed the part where Brian said if he goes under 190 lbs he goes into organ failure. Multiple organs start shutting down.

Fucks sake is this still going on?

Brian approached his fight with clegg like he approaches everything he does.
He has so much self belief he thinks he can do anything without any training or prep beforehand

Bodybuilding = a weeks diet (if that)= FAIL
SCN = his first ever gym lift was 160lbs, he just entered with zero training or prep = FAIL
MMA just rocked up with a gumsheild and shorts = FAIL
Buys a race car after seeing a race and enters = FAIL

Its the reason he gives up on everything as well, he doesnt have any internal motivation to improve because he thinks hes perfect already

Oh, and Em is living with her daughter at the moment, she posted on FB about a lost cat

Didnt anyone pick up on Brians shopping cart had no family food in it?

Ironically,  all the shit he's taking to try and be 220 will be what puts him into organ failure.

Burt Young in 01:06 where he says "Now get outta here before I break ya face", you can tell he was a real tough guy, was a successful boxer while in military too.

x2 if I had to choose between fighting Burt, Sly, or Tommy, I'd take my chances with Sly.

quick response to josh

I am on life licence. that means i can be recalled to prison for the rest of my life if in breach of my parole terms. Organising a fight is clearly in breach of those terms. So even without laying a glove on brian I could go back to prison for the rest of my life. no parole no seeing the light of day. I'd rather not have that happen.  I absolutely don't trust a word Hankins said- when you were going to 'meet' brian he engaged the local police. So I don't trust him at all. Also I am hoping to travel a bit this year and would rather be able to do this without brian making life difficult. if that makes me a coward so be it. Quite what difference brian knowing my name will make to the man who scares serial killers is beyond me. I don't trust him not to go straight to the police and get me locked up for life.

Last week i gave him a false name. Within minutes he was all over the liverpool echo site trawling stories claiming i was. apaedophile. so he is seeking my details to try to fuck my life up safely hidden away in the USA. NO THANKS. I trust him as far as he can throw clegg

Thats exactly it! Real fighters that fight for a living at a high level are in a different world, a different mindset, another level. For as many corners Ive been in over the years I still think to myself that you have to have a fucking screw loose to be doing this and the fight was the easy part. The preps are brutal and even worse when you're trying to make a cut. These guys are usually training 3-4x a DAY. You just don't want to carry a lot of muscle when you're a fighter, muscle takes way too much oxygen and you wind up gassing early.

People make fun of guys like Fedor, Fury and even Roy Nelson. Even though they don't carry a ton of muscle these are big, strong and VERY well conditioned mothers**kers. The same can be said for most professional strongmen. Speaking of which, in 2017 I helped prep a fighter for a fight in Poland against Pudzianowski. Even thought Pudz was big and of course still strong, he still downsized quite a bit to be better conditioned. The fight went to decision to Pudz but when a black Brazilian/American fights in Poland the only way to win is by KO. lol

Point being, BRIAN, Krank is 100% correct on mindset and of course discipline. I don't think you have it otherwise you wouldn't have said "I can't make 185"

I'm not the expert here Joe....YOU are.  You've said all of that on GB over the years.  I have seen it in BBing and CF (yeah, I know you don't like it...but the negative mindset thing when training or in comp is there as well).  Your experience with fighters is very unique and deep.  So when someone like Brian says the things he does...thats why we have a hard time giving him ANY kudos of ANY kind.

LOL...No, not now not even if Tyson was a paraplegic in a wheel chair. He trains once in a while down the road from me with Rafael Cordeiro at Kings MMA. I would love to walk in watch him train one day but it's a closed session. Tyson should scare the piss out of anyone.

I get it, I just try to stay away from it but in this case, he just doesn't understand. He might do well in a street fight that lasts for few seconds but to go Three fives or five fives is a shit load of the right training.

Brian, if you really want to test yourself, go down to like American Top Team or HB Ultimate with Tiki and volunteer to get into a rotation with a fighter getting ready for a fight in like UFC, Bellator or even ONE Championship in Singapore. If you can prove yourself I'm sure you'd get in as a paid rotation. My son is in rotations with Kongo when he's prepping.

On a side note, the figures in the ONE Championships are just fucking badass and fun to watch. Their speed is mind-blowing

I can not make 185lbs. I have cut a ton of weight over the years I went from 145lbs to 121lbs in a week when I was at cadet nationals at 15 years old. I cannot do that now. I know my body. I cannot make 185lbs. I am way bigger than that.

Brian already told us he used to go to dojos and training schools and ragdoll the teachers

Stop trying to use logic and reason with him.
Its like trying to tell a guy with a billboard saying the worlds going to end next week that it isnt.

Before you try and help or correct someone you have to make a judgement on if they are mentally capeable of listening or taking advice.

People like Brian are a lost cause, hes a pure narcissist totally incapeable of accepting he may be wrong

When did I say I could beat a 25 year old professional mma fighter my size? I said I can whoop the old slob haters on this board and a 58 year old pot smoking Mike Tyson. I know you all don't believe that but that is my opinion. I never said anything about a Prime Tyson or a prime professional MMA fighter my size.
