If the transcripts are available, it will be very easy to verify if the transcripts match the audio and vice versa. So you might have people releasing edited audio that doesn't match the transcript, or the released transcript is not an accurate transcript that does not convey everything you can hear in the audio version.

Releasing or withholding the audio recordings is used for political purposes. But transparency is crucial especially when it comes to the government being transparent. The "altered and selectively edited" videos can be "fact checked" with the transcripts. If they match they match, if they don't point out the inaccuracies. What will happen if the audio/video does not match the transcripts that have been released though? Will this be election interference?

Most media go out of their away to pretend Biden has no senility issues and even now they are admitting they have a hard time keeping up with their coverups "fact checks".
