Mike Christian - might be looking good right now, might not...

OK here we go…

In the years I trained, worked, loitered and trespassed at Golds Gym Venice… nobody and when I say nobody, that includes everybody… nobody gained muscle and lost fat faster than Mike Christian. I swear to god, he would be on a six month bender (coke, crack, meth, booze) get off the narcotics, get in the gym, eat decently and train 6 days per week…

…six weeks later (yes, approximately 40 days) he would change from a skinny fat 185 to a tight, vascular, glycogen filled 230 pounds. Absolutely crazy.

Single best responder I ever saw.

Paul Dillett would give him a run for his money, and Dillett was lazy as hell, lifted super light weights

Levrone too, dude hardly trained, played music, and pounded alcohol like crazy in the off season

Both those boys were clearly phenomenal responders. I still think Christian set the standard.

It’s funny Dillet moved almost no weight.

Levrone was extremely strong.

Christian could be strong when he wanted, however frequently it appeared he would just do huge repetition sets while day dreaming. Super friendly guy in my experience.
