Nothing could be further from the truth.  I don't need to make a post declaring I won't respond to him.  The beauty of me being an adult is my ability to pick and choose when, who, and why I do or do not respond to someone. 

I log in, I do my thing, I leave.  No one "comes with".  If I choose to not log in for a week, a month, or a year...its that simple.  Its because I choose.  Never forget that.
