He’s not likeable enough to make it in any sales/client facing career - too narcissistic. Narcissism is acceptable if one has self awareness and can self deprecate to relay the balance in the customer or client. This. Getbig's Harley is also a massive weirdo with a touch of ego, but he's compassionate and intelligent enough to have it form part of his charm (plus he's actually competent). Hankins, however, will be absolutely fucked if he ever has to deal with the public. He's spent his entire life as a social pariah because he just doesn't have any endearing personality traits, and he's also an inveterate narcissist who will never admit to being in the wrong.
Combine that with ADHD, anxiety, and a cannabis-use disorder, and you've got a recipe for the most spastic lawyer of all time. The Google reviews will be hilarious. Not to mention his reading comprehension is genuinely appalling (see, e.g. constantly confusing Marvin Martian for Muscle Matters on here, along with numerous other examples). Even if he resigns himself to just doing paperwork, it will be a dumpster fire.
It's nice that his wife wants to encourage him to try something more fruitful than taking steroids and bulking to 250lbs well into middle age, but this is not it. Just because he's willing to argue with a brick wall, and he refuses to ever concede a point, does not mean that he's going to be able to ever put it towards something more beneficial than ensuring they're never asked to dinner parties and pointless social gatherings.
