ND...ok, you get the reprieve. If you do admit that Flex in the 1993 Mr. Olympia would have whooped any version of Dorian I am cool with you. I agree to disagree however. Dorian looked very average in 1996; he was going downhill by then. In fact, many a scribe wrote how Nasser owned him from the front. If Nasser had 75% of Coleman's back, he would have been a multi-time Mr. Olympia. However, the pics from 1993 show how good Dorian really was. If he would have showed up in that condition year in and out, it would have been ballgame. I agree, 1993 Dorian probably could have taken 1998 Coleman if the judging were legit. However, by 1999 I feel Ronnie had him pretty easily. Dorian's side chest was impressive, but Haney was the true master of the side chest. Dorian had nowhere the thickness in his chest of Haney. As for Coleman, he pretty much dwarfs Dorian over the past couple of years. Since size is the apparent name of the game, I don't see how Dorian could have realistically competed. In fact, Cutler outweighs Dorian year in and out and has better wheels (thighs/hams). I feel that Dorian came up now, he and Cutler would be fighting it out for 2nd place. I think Coleman last year or 2003 was just too big. In 2004, Coleman needed to lose about 10 pounds of water. In 2001, a 1993 Dorian would have smoke Coleman. However, a 1997 Dorian would barely make top three now. I guess the reality is that our debates are just that, opinion. I see why you like Dorian; man was amazing. However, he did not keep that condition for more than a couple of years. Others have stayed at their peak longer.
