You go on about Yates great balance and proprotion without even realizing that he is actually less balanced than Ronnie is.  Ronnie's entire body is in balance except for his calves.

Yates has the entire arm complex dwarfed by his calves and a chest that disappears in a lat spread because it is too small for his upper body.


his chest was far undersized (see any most muscular) and his calves were too big.

but no, you can't acknowledge theses flaws now can you?

Add this statement up with " his conditioning was a myth " and " Matt Mendenhall was blocky "  to your list of gems , Ronnie's balance & proportion is NOT on par with Dorians

Again the pictures are NOT scaled correctly and front double biceps shot is from 92 when he was 240lbs and you're comparing it to Ronnie at 257lbs , back double biceps Yates is 262lbs from the 94 Olympia obviously not his best , nice try but next time let someone who is less biased do the comparsions .

saying the pics are not to scale is nothing more than ND avoiding the obvious: muscular detail and shape are lacking in Dorian compared to Ronnie.

at their respective bests, Dorian and Ronnie were almost identical in height and weight.

Personally, the pro ronnie argument has nothing to do with size.

Its all about shape, detail, vascularity and taper..



size has little to do with it.  It should be obvious who has the better physique according to the criteria of detail, vascularity, shape and taper..
