exactly, I personally think Ronnie was dryer in 98/99 but his back was still pretty sharp in 03. ND just posted a horrible shot.
There seems to be a trend towards Ronnie fans to be retarded
That's a good shot from 98
There will be someone else who comes along though that will surpass Coleman....will have all the qualities of Ronnie with an awesome midsection and awesome calves.
We'll see. It's theoretically possible for someone to surpass Ronnie. However, the odds are extremely low. You would need someone with better genetics than Ronnie. That limits the field of potential successors down to less than .00001% of the population. Next, they would have to start bodybuilding. What good is having better genetics if they don't get into bodybuilding? The percentage of people who are bodybuilders is less than 1% of the popluation. Finally, he would also have to stay in bodybuilding long enough. There's no guarantee that he will be injury-free or not quit for some other reason. I'm not sure what the odds of this are.
Ronnie never had the best genetics in BB though. If Dillet had the drive and work ethic of Coleman he would have been the best ever. He had a great midsection and calves just like dorian!
I never said Ronnie had the best genetics. I was just saying that a bodybuilder would need better genetics in order to surpass him. Dillet was good, but his back sucked ass. No amount of work ethic would make up for his crappy lats. I personally think Nasser had better potential. The guy was huge everwhere and had a flat midsection. His only problem was his back wasn't dry enough.
There seems to be a trend towards Ronnie fans to be retarded but it needs further exaimination.
i think ronnie obviously had insane genetics... ... b i agree with dillet... i think his structure limited his backs potential...

exactly my point. Ronnie probably has better genetics than 99.9999% of the population. For somebody to surpass Ronnie, they would need to have better genetics. They would also have to become a bodybuilder and stay injury-free during their career. It's theoretically possible but the odds are extremely low.
Pobrecito said someone will eventually come along who surpasses Coleman. I'm assuming he means Ronnie's combination of size, conditioning, and symmetry.
one thing is for sure, the Mr. Olympia of 1992 and 1993 was certainly surpassed when ronnie hit his peak.at least that much I am sure you guys can all agree on.
Surpass Ronnie in what respect? Mr Olympia wins? I doubt that will ever happen again , and Ronnie doesn't have a great genetic structure but he has great genetics none the less.
I think someone will be able to match Ronnie in terms of size & conditioning its possible ! it may not happen for a long time but the trend is going up.
you are forgetting haneys wins, he had 8 first. he is still the man by way of doing it first. argue/ discuss
