Me my self competed numerous time and seeing felow competitor on stage and in audience made huge difference too.Sometime i was so surprised at beating bigger guy than me and my friend told me that i looked way better and i said "No way, i dont believe you." and many said also i was better. i know only Lee priest who say dorian is better and all of another said "Ronnie is from another planet".You know what they mean.
So on stage you cant judge your fellow competitor.its almost impossible.IN audience,YES. I see many pro contest(include WABBA) and my judgeing and those pro-judge are almost same.
And also, i have been huge huge Dorian Yates that time and my hand was shaking with emotion when he shaked my hand and sign his autograph to my dorians book.BUt,i thought Dorian was owned by Nasser from the front.So my way of judging is always constructed with logic ,not my favourite.
Some parts are better than coleman,ex: calves and especialy his granite condition. But many parts and proportion, Ronnie is better.
But telling you again, i have never been huge colemans fan.

Nasser may have beat Dorian from the front in 1997 but he didn't in 1995 and he wouldn't in 1993 , Dorian even at his worse 1997 still clearly beat Nasser in every round , nevermind at his best ! Ronnie can't match Dorian in the sidechest , sidetriceps , ab-thigh , front & rear latspreads , backdouble biceps , Dorian looks better from all angles from all side , sure guys can post pics of Yates when he doesn't look so great in these poses , but at his best Dorian is unbeatable period.

Nothing mediocre about Dorian's triceps or forearms , his biceps were good enough to beat guys like Ronnie who had the freaky arms when Dorian beat him 9 times , Dorian didn't need Ronnie's arms to beat Ronnie.

Ronnie's biceps were always better and bigger than Dorian's in fact the times they faced each other Ronnie had the edge in biceps/triceps size it doesn't matter , you think it does but it doesn't.

when most people refer to lines its in terms of aesthetics anyway , Ronnie may have more striations but Dorian is no slouch , lines aren't contest deal breakers they're not going to shift a contest one way or the other , Ronnie has more lines in his chest and triceps , Dorian has more in his midsection , lower back and lowerlats again its like shape , Ronnie has the edge in terms of some shape in some muscle and Dorian in others , Dorian doesn't have to be like Ronnie to beat Ronnie , with a win/loss percentage of 88% being Dorian worked very well for him.

I have the 1993/94 Mr Olympia on video , I've seen clips of Dorian from 1992/95/96/97 I've seen clips of Ronnie 94/95/96/97/98/99/00/01/02/03/04/05/06 Olympia I've seen dozens and dozens of pictures from Ronnie & Dorian at their best , I've covered all the bases and I'm confident that in the end Yates would win , he simply fits the IFBB judging criteria better than Ronnie.

2) Yates beat Levrone on the side chest in Kevin's prime (1995).

Therefore, Yates > Coleman.

Secondly, just look at this annihilation of Ray and Sonbaty in the rear lat by Yates Also note that Sonbaty was noticeably wider than Coleman in 98. Hence, with Dorian being wider that Sonbaty here, he is wider than Coleman. This is also illustrated in the 2nd picture where Yates has greater lat and clavicle width.
