Lets see according to camp-delusional ' pics don't lie '  ;) where is the superior arm definition? Dorian is easily handing Ronnie his ass in terms of muscular balance , density , bulk and from the looks of THE PIC ( pics don't lie ) it conditioning

How long is it going to take you to realize that other than in the midsection and lower back, Dorian is left in the dust by Ronnie when it comes to conditioning and detail??

now that is just the stupidest comparison I have EVER seen ::) ::).

Ronnie's arm is dangling, not even clapsed, not even flexed, not even tight to his body, nothing.

Man, you get stupid when you are losing badly... :-\

I don't think ND has ever been owned this badly.

and there he goes with his quotes that are thoroughly disproved by reality.

and he is posting pics of ronnie dangling his arm TWICE and he is claiming it to be a fully flexed triceps pose.. ::)

I'm not saying this pic is better than yates, but this is a good shot of Coleman's side tricep. It's long, thick, seperated, dry and striated.

How did I get owned?

because I was honest and said the truth?

that ronnie at his best would crush arnold

but that had Arnold competed today we would never really know?

oh, thats right- you have never really been honest as your whole presence on this board is a sham - you are a demonstrated troll, plain and simple.

so, which side are you on this week?

He hasn't messed with the pic. Your pic you posted is different. Just look at the background colors. 2 totally different shots. By the way I'm to watch the Super Bowl. You guys should do the same.

I know I posted a different pic I did that to show the difference between fully flex and transition and when you isolate a part of the pic and make it bigger the quality suffers so nice try

You can't defeat me academically, so you have to stoop down to the level of me being a troll? ::)

Even if I was a troll, that makes no difference in the argument I am making. Whether or not I believe what I am saying, that is irrelevant. You still have to refute what I am saying. Calling me a troll does not achieve this. It is simply another one of your cop-outs :-\

Hey Hulkster,

Is Dorian's condition still a myth?

no. but compared to Ronnie, it is not as good overall (the midsection and lower back are the only two areas where dorian has ronnie edged out. bottom line is he holds more water in most areas than ronnie does at his best.

of course I amended my opinion. there have been 25,000 posts since then and alot contain good dorian shots.

but the ronnie shots are better lol

Hulkster, do the entire bodybuilding community a favor and give up on your claims that Ronnie was better conditioned than Dorian. Coleman had more overral separations at his best, yes, but Dorian's muscles looked like dry granite rock rapped in Human skin, compared to Coleman's, which looked just like ordinary Human muscles. If you did a magnetic ressonance imaging of the 1995 Dorian vs the 1999 Coleman, I'm willing to bet my bank account - a hefty sum - that Dorian had considerably less water both inside as well as outside his muscles. Consider Peter McGough's quote, after Dorian remarked at an interview that the pre-contest vodoo had increased since he retired, but the guys aren't any harder than the champions of the 1990's:

"This statement should not be taken lightly, because no bodybuilder has ever been as dry as the man who won six Sandows.

Obvously, McGough is including here Ronnie's 2001 ASC form, when Ronnie was even drier than at the 1999 Olympia. ;)

julian schmidt is a god anything he says is the utter truth.  why would the photographer know more about bodybuilding. does a person that takes photographs of paintings know how to make the painting. have you ever competed i think not, we hired a photographer who does alot of shows, he never trained, and didnt know shit other then his profession, photography. the fact that you champion the pic when ronnie is clearly better conditioned because a quote says so shows your intelligence. ronnie is much more cut and way harder based on neos pics. ive already shown you why dorian wouldnt have more cuts, seperations, size etc then pics.

But Horton has seen both Dorian and Ronnie at 285 lbs live, and he thinks Dorian looks harder and more separated overral at that weight. Sure, he's a photographer, but we're not talking about photographs here but what he saw live. ;)

and that is one of the many reason why the dorian side's argument is flawed.

bodybuilding competition is not based on mathematics, body fat percentages or magnetic resonance.

it is solely based on appearence.

and, like I said, dorian may have looked GREAT standing next to nasser and kevin.

standing next to Ronnie 99 he would have not had such an easy time...

in fact, he would probably lose for the very same reasons (only more of them) that dorian lost to haney:

-relatively the same size
-but with better symmetry/lines/proportion
-and with a better shape and a good back

(recall that haney also dominated from the back just like dorian did and ronnie after him)

-a lot of people say that dorian won the contests from the back.

well, Ronnie, unlike dorian, was just as good from the back as he was from the front.

Ronnie wasn't that great from the front.

He was owned by Flex and Cormier in the front double biceps in 98 and 99. His side triceps let a lot to be desired. His ab/thigh is among the worst of any Olympian.

Also, your analogy of Haney and Coleman is severely flawed.

Yates defeated Haney as a rookie in muscularity, despite weighing 11lbs less. Dorian's condition was far superior to Haney's. The only reason Haney beat Yates was becuase of superior posing.

Do you really think Coleman is a better poser than Yates? :-X

You say bodybuilding is not mathematical, well, to an extent this is true. However, it's confirms that Yates was more muscular and therefore would win the muscularity round ;)
