Both guys look great. They both look hard. Ronnie's glutes don't look out of proportion in that shot because Ronnie's has huge hams and thighs to go with those glutes. So far you haven't mentioned hams, arms or the size of there thighs. Ronnie wins in the hams department and not to mention, Ronnie's thighs make yates thighs look like toothpicks. Ronnie has better arms. yates arms look like twigs on a tree. Both guys are as wide and have pretty much the same back mass and detail. If balance is huge in this pose, then explain yates small arms, small hams and small thighs? If you look at the picture correctly, yates upper body is over powering his lower body. yates has better calves, no doubt. Over all they both look good, but I think Ronnie looks more complete in the rear latspread.
that particular shot, arms dont have much of an impact.
i think mainly bc both guys are straight on and you cant even really see that well. yes, ronnie's arms are bigger but it has little impact due to the view and angle. yates triceps are clearly visible, just not as large as ronnie's.
yates' traps and rear delts are more prominent. rear delts in that pose will cause for the appearance of more width.
dorian's traps are thicker showing that his back is indeed thicker.
as far as hamstrings go, both look to be about the same size. even structurally. as far as equal width on the back of the leg.
ronnie's leg is at an angle, displaying more of the muscle - the right leg - where as yates is straight on.
that is actually good posing on ronnie's part.
but the left leg, as far as striations, along with the low back are pretty much equal.
yates wins this comparison by a small margin for the thicker back, better rear delts, and calves.
also, dorian's lats insert lower for a more impressive effect.
THIS MAY BE THE BEST COMPARISON PHOTO IN THIS ENTIRE THREAD. SAME ANGLE AND LIGHTING CONDITIONS.

another great comparison due to the same lighting conditions and angle.

yates showing dramatic superiority in everything excpet bicep peaks.
however, ronnie was not at his peak.
