Becuase he can get on the sauce any time he wishes. You have a decent physique, but didn't anyone ever teach you any humility?

if Suckmyasshole needs to use steroids to beat a 21 yr old, then he is truly pathetic. I assure you that I have plenty of humility. You must be confusing me with Adonis or Daddywaddy who openly flaunt their physiques. I do no such thing. The only reason I put down Suckmyasshole is b/c he had the audacity to criticize my appearance when he's too much of a pussy to post a pic of himself.

Hey Nutt-Huggers,

How do you explain the fact that Coleman lost to Yates even when he looked like this (better than he looked during any of his Olympia wins LOL)...

ha ha ha ha, good job pointing out the obvious. What next? You are going to tell me that 2 + 2 = 4?

Then why did you say it, dumass? ::) You did say that two guys who weight 200 lbs and have 3% bodyfat will not have the same amount of bodyfat if one is taller than the other. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha...you brutally owned yourself on that one.

Quote
I'm pretty sure volume doesn't stay proportional to surface area when you increase size (which is what you are claiming). Take for example the cell. There's a reason why cells don't continue to grow but rather divide and form new cells. So a person who is 5'7" and weighs 250 lbs @ 3% body fat will not have the same proportional amount of fat as a person who is 7' and weights 250 lbs @ 3% body fat.

Nope. You're dead wrong, sport. The surface area will be exactly proportional to volume. If a guy is 7' and weight the same of a guy who is 5'7, then they will have exactly the same surface area. The taller guy will occupy more space vertically, but this will be compensated by him occupying less space horizontaly and in thickness. In the specific case you've mentioned, not only will they have the same proportional amount of bodyfat, they will also have the same amount of bodyfat in pounds as well - if they weight the same. If the weight varies, then the amount of bodyfat in pounds will differ, but they will have proportionally the same amount of bodyfat regardless. ;)

yawn, this is the last time I'm going to explain this to you. If you still don't understand after this, then I'll just let it go. If you take 2 individuals - let's say one of them is 5'7" and the other is 7' - who both weigh 200 lbs and have 3% bf and 0 water levels, the person who is shorter will display more overall definition. The reason for this is simple. A taller person carries more weight in his skin, bones, organs and connective tissue, and body fat is expressed as a percentage of total weight. Therefore, even at the same body fat % the individual who is 7' carries more body fat. Since both weigh the same amount yet the taller person has more fat, it logically follows that he has less muscle mass. Even a middle school student can grasp this simple concept. The guy who is 7' will display less overall definition b/c he is carrying more fat and less muscle even though they are both 3% body fat. I standardized the height and lean body mass to compensate for this.

Hey, Sperm, here's where you said that two guys who weight the same and have the same bodyfat % will not have the same bodyfat if one is taller. Observe the passages in bold. Oh boy, you made my day with this one! ;D 8)

ha ha ha ha ha, please. Like that will ever happen. Suckmyasshole is too afraid to throw up a pic of himself at his peak to compare with a 21 yr old. Why should I fear him now when he is past his prime?

Weren't you recently on the Padilla thread? Did that decision make any sense, with Padilla 5th?

The only proof needed was either Columbu Olympian win, when he was never the best-built guy in the world either time. The hijinks didn't just happen then, it's widespread, as Serge Nubret mentioned. Another BB who was clearly better than Columbu. That's how Coleman could out-muscle Yates and not win, just as Padilla could come 5th in the 81 Olympia.

Out-muscling Yates; it wasn't close. ;D

wake up call.

your pathetic argument would maybe mean something if ronnie finished a close 2nd to yates in that show.

he got 6th place.

you're right, it wasnt even close.

ronnie wasnt even close to beating a 205 lbs. shawn ray.

You CAN'T be that stupid-Padilla was 5th in '81, equally absurd. Neither had anything to do with reality, except to dummies who accept everything the IFBB peddles without question, like you.

Actually, the fact that he ended up with 5th was very misleading.

According to a post in that thread with the judges scoring, it looked like any number of competitors could have won the show. Several judges had Padilla winning the show outright, other had Dickerson, Columbu, etc. In reality, Padilla could have easily ended up anywhere from 1st-5th, overall it was just the judges personal preference.

Interview with Flex Wheeler saying that Ronnie and himself has surpassed yates physique:

http://www.npcnewsonline.com/new/interviews/flexinterview.htm

"JM: Do you feel any regret that you never got the chance to take on Dorian one more time?
FW:No. He's always going to be netted as one of the champions as undefeated. You always want to take it from the champion. No, that doesn't bother me because I think both Ronnie and I are above what he has displayed at the previous Mr. Olympia's so I think it would have been happening anyway. Especially like this year, with Ronnie and I coming out and were both battling."

Also for the people saying that Wheeler should of won in 98. Wheeler clearly states that he knew he lost:

"JM: When they announced you in second place, what went through your head?
FW:You know honestly I knew that I didn't win. I knew I didn't win after the prejudging  because I sit down and I talk to everybody that I talk to."

"I went up to Ronnie and said I love you and man you deserve this one. Enjoy it, we'll get together later."

Video Review of RONNIE COLEMAN - THE UNBELIEVABLE Video

http://www.naturalolympia.com/html/ColemanVideoReview.html

"In 1996, Dorian Yates set a new standard for bodybuilding training videos with the release of his hard-core tape "Blood and Guts". It's only fitting that the video that raises that standard should come from Dorian's successor to the throne of Mr. Olympia, none other than Ronnie Coleman himself."

that's the 1st that i've read of that.

in the January 99 and January 00 issues of FLEX in hardtimes gossip section, flex always thought he should have won.

especially in 99, when he turned his back to the audience.

also, it's strange that flex thinks what he showed in 98 and 99 would surpass yates considering his best - which was well before 98 and 99.

also, this month, in FLEX, one of the writers quoted flex saying joel stubbs has the best upper body of all time.

i agree that the unbelievable is a better training video.

BnG is good for training, but that's all it is.

no color and no extra footage.

there are many videos better than BnG.

More evidence that 98 Ronnie's back was better than yates.

1998 Mr. Olympia Report:

http://www.maxmuscle.com/index.cfm?fa=article&doc_id=22&subcat=body_building

"Milos Sarcev, in his evaluation of Mr. Olympia contenders in the last issue of Max Muscle, saw Coleman as having a good chance: "At this time, Ron has the best back in the history of the sport," said Mishko, "even better than Benoit and Haney, or Dorian. Ron's thicker, wider, more pleasing. With his big arms and a double pump pose, he could use both his back and his front to win it."

"What transpired was one of the better Mr. Olympia contests: According to Max Muscle European photographer Gary Phillips, Coleman not only won, but he won big. "It wasn't really close," said Phillips. "Coleman just walked on stage and virtually everyone in the audience who wasn't totally partisan knew it was over. He was really quite overwhelming." From the beginning of the show to the end."

"Ronnie Coleman: At the beginning of this report we wondered whether the next Mr. Olympia would be cast in the Shadow of Dorian Yates, well just as Dorian did in 1992, the dawn of the mass monster was born with thickness and granite striations which marked the beginning of a new era, Dorian's era. Well Ronnie Coleman brings with him a package that is a combination of mass and aesthetics. Many wondered that with the tremendous gains he's made in attaining his new found muscle mass that the additional size would detract from his overall shape. What a shock they got when he walked on the stage every bit a winner and saw that the size of him only added to the overall shape and he looked even better. This hybrid of muscle mass and aesthetics could conceivably mark the dawning of a new physique of the future. Ronnie was awesome, massive arms, great separation and condition with a back that stood out in a line up which stood out, he just kept growing."

This is for you nuthugers. Here is a poll for "The Best Back"

http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=2974091

LOL, notice how many votes Ronnie has over yates. Ronnie has more than twice the amount of votes that yates has.

isn't it funny how we have here a completely different forum yet the posters there are saying the EXACT same things that WE are about Ronnie's back?

ie it is more pleasing to the eye, thicker, and the greatest of all time.

people are comparing dorian to stubbs in that thread LOL

hahaha

and yet the dorian nuthuggers on this thread still say they are right, even though we can now see that they are by far the minority of most rational, and intelligent people...
