It's not looking wider, Yates WAS wider  ;)

Exactly, but that prick who can't leave my pics alone thinks that 98 Coleman is bigger despite weighing 20lbs less. LOL

Hey Rocket, has pumpster posted his pics yet?

Is he up to the challenge?

He is too self conscious to even consider posting a pic of himself. All we have is a pic of his little bowflex and wonderful 1 room apartment in the Bronx. It's funny how he tries to make fun of others when he clearly has no life.

He says that I'm fat but then this particular guy never was a good judge. One prime example is he always says that Yates had 16" arms but according to Flex magazine his arms measured just under 22" in the offseason.

I should add that not one person has called me fat in real life and my sexy girlfriend loves my body. At the end of the day that's all that matters to me. We just took a shower together and now she's in bed waiting for me. Mmm

All Pumpster has is his right hand and my pics of course.

This thread is going nowhere with this crap. The Yates fans won the argument as soon as the first message was posted on page 1. I've followed this thread almost since day one although I got involved quite late into the argument. All it's doing now is going round and round in circles and going nowhere thanks to Hulkster, Pumpster and the rest of the stupid nuthuggers.

lol lost the argument?

no, we WON the argument on page one, just like EVERYONE says..

remember: 4 votes. 8 votes. nothing votes compared to 99 Ronnie's votes.

you are in the very few minority.

do not forget this..

So from all of the polls from Getbig, bodybuilding.com, musclemecca.com etc. has Ronnie winning in the polls. Quotes from the writers, bodybuilders who (competed against both guys admitting Ronnie is better). Yeah, that sure does make yates the winner  ::)

Let me refresh your memory:

Who is better 99/03 Ronnie or 93/95 Yates?

Who has the best back so far in bodybuilding history?

Quotes from writers and bodybuilders stating Ronnie is the best ever:

Dorian Yates - Radio Interview

"The judges would probably choose Ronnie over me."

FLEX 1999 JAN: MILOS SARCEV on RONNIE COLEMAN at the 98 Olympia: "RONNIE has the best back double bicep-pose ever.”

FLEX JAN 1999: MIKE MATARAZZO on RONNIE COLEMAN at the 98 Olympia: “I think this creature from another planet, RONNIE COLEMAN, is going to be number one for a while. I think that, in the shape he was in, he would have beaten DORIAN YATES. RONNIE has every single attribute it takes to be the greatest bodybuilder who ever lived. I’m a very hard guy to impress, and I have never been so impressed by a bodybuilder since I saw LEE HANEY. Honestly, RONNIE had muscle bellies and striations jumping out all over the place! Nobody can touch FLEX WHEELER for symmetry-FLEX looks like GOD hand-painted him. So, not to degrade FLEX, but RONNIE COLEMAN is just leaps and bounds above everybody in the sport right now.”

FLEX JAN 1999: PETER MCGOUGH on RONNIE COLEMAN at the 98 Olympia: “His back was best in show: big, wide thick and ripped. Back double biceps, head to toe, freakiest shot in bodybuilding.”

FLEX JAN 2000: DORIAN YATES on Ronnie Coleman at the 99 Olympia big, big lat spread: “Ronnie looks like a cartoon character.”

2007 Premier with Ronnie Coleman: Dan Soloman of PBW: "Vintage Ronnie Coleman Lat Spread which arguably is the greatest that this sport has ever seen."

Premier with Ronnie Coleman: Dan Soloman of PBW: “You’ve won more contests than anyone in the history in the sport of the Olympia and all contests combined.”

2007 Jan 15 with Jay Cutler
Jay Cutler: “Everyone knows, you know, Ronnie Coleman has the best back ever. I mean he was untouchable in the back.”

MD, page. 45, feb. 04, Steve Blechman: "Ronnie persevers and proves continually, that, at his best, he is unbeatable"

MD, page 44, Feb. 04, -Steve Blechan: "Ronnie Coleman is not only the greatest Mr. O of all time, he is also one of the oldest"

Flex Magazine, August 2005 - Peter McGough

"Personally, the best physique I ever saw onstage was Ronnie's at the 2001 Arnold Schwarzenegger Classic. He was cut, full, trim in the waist and a monster (proving that when you're supersharp, you look superbig)."

John Hansen, 2x Mr. Natural Universe and Mr. Natural Olympia

"With his incredible thickness and muscle shape, Coleman doesn't need to weigh over 260 pounds onstage to look big. When he won the Arnold Classic last year, Ronnie only weighed 247 pounds but he looked like he weighed 20 pounds heavier."

Peter McGough - Flex, August 2005

"Ronnie sporting that (01 ASC) look would, in my opinion, be unbeatable."

Flex Wheeler - MD, February 2004

"I'll go on record as saying Ronnie is truly the biggest, hardest, most shredded Mr. Olympia in history. No disrespect to anybody at all, but I'd to identify Ronnie Coleman as the greatest Mr. Olympia of all time."

Jean Pierre Fux - http://www.criticalbench.com/Jean-Pierre-Fux.htm

"The current Mr. Olympia (Ronnie Coleman). In top shape, probably the best physique that ever stepped on stage."

Paul Dillet - MD, February 2004

"Understand that if Ronnie walked away tomorrow, I do not think anyone can measure up to the standards he has set. Just like Sergio Oliva, an awesome bodybuilder way ahead of his time, and like Flex Wheeler, who had an absolutely perfect, beautiful physique. No one will match Serigo or Flex and now Ronnie."

Dexter Jackson - Flex, January 2004

"As to Ronnie, that dude is by far the best bodybuilder on earth, he is in a class by himself, and no one will be able to touch him for years to come."

John Hansen, 2x Mr. Natural Universe and Mr. Natural Olympia - Personal Website

"It would be safe to say that [Ronnie Coleman] presented a physique that has never been seen by the bodybuilding world ever before. Competing at an incredibly massive 287 pounds, Ronnie destroyed the competition with a physique that could not possibly be equaled."

Shawn Ray – 2003 Year in Review (Hosted on Bodybuilding.com)

"Ridiculous" Ronnie Coleman would win his 6th Sandow Trophy in a row looking absolutely ridiculous! This guy was from another planet! Ronnie added about a million pounds of muscle from the previous year and squashed the competition on sheer MASS! Unbelievable is what Ronnie was this night!"

Ryan Mackie - A Fan Perspective: My 2003 Olympia Experience (Hosted on Bodybuilding.com)

"Everyone could see that at 287 pounds this was Ronnie's night and that he was back on top of his game and furthermore bodybuilding had just seen the bar of excellence raised even further. Just like Dorian Yates did in 1993 when he set a new standard, Ronnie has now taken it even further leaving all his competitors wonder what they have to do to now catch Ronnie Coleman, let alone beat him."

On Getbig boards: Flex, who do you think had the better physique at their respective peaks - Dorian Yates or Ronnie Coleman ?  "Flex Wheeler: Hands down.. RC"

Flex Wheeler, page 160, MD: "Everyone was in awe. I almost bit my tounge a number of times sitting in the crowd watching him. I never ever imagined a human being could look like that. ....People were just shaking their heads"

Victor Martinez, page 352, Feb. 04 MD: "I freaked out when I saw Ronnie. It was just hands down that he had first place. Hell, yeah, everyone did. There were a bunch of guys standing backstage looking at him. We couldn't do anything but stare."

Quotes from yates fans admitting Ronnie is better:

"Yates is one of my favorite bodybuilders, but being objectionable, the 2003 form of Ronnie is just unbeatable. Yates admitted himself that Ron would have beaten him."

"Im a top fan of both of them, in overhead ab pose & side tri pose Yates would have edged him out but its Coleman all the way on all the other poses. 2003 where he was a conditioned 287 was out of this world & wont be matched for another decade. Even Yates said that he looked like a cartoon character he was so unbelievable. 99 was also very good, does anyone know how much he weighed there? It was a great combination of both size & aesthetics."

"I love Yates, but he doesn't hold a candle to Ronnie. Yates was a "mass monster" and Ronnie makes him look like an amateur."

"Dorian has always been one of my favourites mainly due to work ethic and intensity. But Ronnie 2003 smashes all before him and since.

Dorians gut was the original belly which started the tradition that is so evident today. Yes Ronnies has gone bigger now but he also packs more mass on then Dorian ever did.

This is a subjective sport but how anyone can objectively view Yates physique as being superior to Ronnies in BB terms boggles the mind."

"I am a HUGE Yates fan, but.............

2003 Ronnie.

On the whole, I still like Yates better than Ronnie. Maybe it's just because I've always had shitty genetics and I can relate better to Yates.

Regardless, Ronnie in 2003 was the King of all Freaks, the living comic book superhero."

"I love Yates and the grainy, dry look he had in 93 was/is unbeatable imo.
But progression is progression so Ron still wins."

Whether it's yates 93/95. Ronnie crushes him. You guys have nothing else left. Everything is against you. Why can't you see that?

ronnie is so freaky at his best and especially his arms are better than yates. however the whole midsection thing detracts.

for muscularity i say ronnie cos of the sheer size.

overall, i would lean for dorian just because one i like his attitude and workout style, plus he was not too bulky. the final thing, i really liked dorians dry look especially his lats.

LOL. Do I smell a racist?

I've told you before, I'm not a racist but I know all about political correctness. I live in England where the government bends over backwards for the so called "ethnic minorities". I've been told that it's the same in America today but I doubt you have such a big immigration problem as we do. 750,000 Eastern Europeans entering Britain between 2004 and 2007 plus an unlimited supply of illegal immigrants coming in from just about every country you can think of. And you've got the nerve to call me a racist.
