oh, I see, because Paul believe this it must be true even though he clearly has major issues that year (loose skin, torn bi, massive waist etc)?

argumentum ad populum..

 ::)

if we showed paul what 99 Ronnie would do to 95 yates, Paul would not be singing the praises of dorian quite so much I assure you.

No this has NOTHING to do with Ronnie and Dorian your comment was he looked super-dull and I posted a quote from Dillett contradicted that claim , and how the fuck did you make the ad populum leap? lmfao man I know you've been taken a beating as of late but what the fuck?

Let's get Shawn, Bob, and other pros who can decide who was the best.

that was already done a while ago. ND will just say they are all wrong. ::)

Flex Wheeler - MD, February 2004

"I'll go on record as saying Ronnie is truly the biggest, hardest, most shredded Mr. Olympia in history. No disrespect to anybody at all, but I'd to identify Ronnie Coleman as the greatest Mr. Olympia of all time."

Jean Pierre Fux - Personal Website

"The current Mr. Olympia (Ronnie Coleman). In top shape, probably the best physique that ever stepped on stage."

Paul Dillet - MD, February 2004

"Understand that if Ronnie walked away tomorrow, I do not think anyone can measure up to the standards he has set. Just like Sergio Oliva, an awesome bodybuilder way ahead of his time, and like Flex Wheeler, who had an absolutely perfect, beautiful physique. No one will match Serigo or Flex and now Ronnie."

Dexter Jackson - Flex, January 2004

"As to Ronnie, that dude is by far the best bodybuilder on earth, he is in a class by himself, and no one will be able to touch him for years to come."

Shawn Ray – 2003 Year in Review (Hosted on Bodybuilding.com)

"Ridiculous" Ronnie Coleman would win his 6th Sandow Trophy in a row looking absolutely ridiculous! This guy was from another planet! Ronnie added about a million pounds of muscle from the previous year and squashed the competition on sheer MASS! Unbelievable is what Ronnie was this night!"

Dorian Yates – PBW Radio Interview

"The judges would probably choose Ronnie [over me]."

Mike Matarazzo – Flex, January 1999

“I think this creature from another planet, Ronnie Coleman, is going to be number one for a while. I think that, in the shape he was in, he would have beaten Dorian Yates. Ronnie has every single attribute it takes to be the greatest bodybuilder who ever lived.”

Branch Warren – Flex, October 2006

“I have a lot of respect for Ronnie. He’s probably the greatest bodybuilder there’s ever been”

All subjective opinions that don't amount to proof ! I respect their opinions but again don't mistake them as proof.

then why the fuck do you believe Paul Dillett when the shots from the 95 contest show quite clearly that dorian had some issues that year in the arms, legs and midsection?

I specific opinion on Ronnie vs. Dorian. Realistically when the subject of greatest bb ever comes up 3 names are almost always the same: Ronnie, Arnold, or Haney

Oh boy flat ? don't mistake DENSITY for flat and recall density plus muscle mass ( add other criteria ) is highly prized , perhaps you missed that , the result is a 247 pound Ronnie getting crushed by a 260 pound Dorian.

Dorian looked flat as a pancake in some poses b/c he was over-dieted.

Its to counter your argument that he appeared super-dull and smart me the issues he had NO fucking issues in 1995 he obliterated everyone like 1993 it was no contest , spare me the straw men , your opinion is biased and ignorant.

I thought Paul said that when he saw Kevin Horton's B&W shots of Dorian before the 93 Olympia not 95.

its ad populum because when the pics show something entirely different than what you think, you go running for an opinion from someone else..as if a  simple opinion will circumvent real proof.. ::)

if they said it was true it MUST be true, even though everything indicates that they were wrong.

that is your argument right there.

you don't make your own decisions and evaluations because you lack the understanding and critical thinking skills to do so.

its that simple.

"...Then there's Dorian Yates. He has a belly like a cow and no arms. That is not a complete physique. That is not proportional or symmetrical..."

Flex magazine Dec 1995

Dorian Yates : Skin like tissue paper. In the crucial front double-biceps shot , the left bicep is short , but NOT fatally so. Traps look as if they have the capacity to render him deaf. Back , upper and lower , is sensational in EVERY respect : width , thickness and detail. Side triceps is a masterpiece that he's made into a Broadway production number. Thighs have more sweep than before . Calves? Yates wrote the book on calves . In muscle thickness , he's in a class of his own . Today's combination of size , proportion , shape and condition make this his peak form.

Today's combination of size , proportion , shape and condition make this his peak form.

1992 he was overdieted 1993 he was on the money 1995 he was on the money , learn this .

Quote Peter McGough Flex Magazine Jan 2001

RONNIE COLEMAN : ( 264lbs As big as a house , but holding water. In '98 , he was shredded and bone dry at 250 pounds. Last year ( 1999 ) he was 257 pounds but NOT as sharp as '98. This year ( 2000 ) at 264 pounds , he's not as sharp as 99 , which would seem to say that Ronnie is better at a lighter weight .

1999 softer than 1998 NEVER MIND Dorian-wrote-the-book-on-freaky-conditioning-Yates , sorry straw men pics in the form of the lowest quality ( admittedly ) screen caps  ;)

Stating the obvious

harder ( i.e. not soft ) and more detailed ( i.e. holding water )
