Reality is an individual construct, meaning that you shape your own perception of what truly is real. The fact is we have no idea what reality is. As well, there is no such thing as fact in bodybuilding as it is a 100% subjective sport. What you see as better, I see as inferior. And I can tell you that many others see it the same way that I do

its funny how the nuthuggers go on about how "small' Ronnie would be compared to dorian in his AC form.

yet, the mans arms, quads etc. were totally massive.

just goes to show you that the extra weight dorian carried was likely not from muscle mass, but rather a heavier bone structure with way more weight in the (super thick) midsection.

Dorian was thicker boned than Coleman therefore Ron would carry more muscle at the same weight.
Example 1993yates vs. 1999coleman 257pds.

As a good example would be Gunter in the below pic at 290-295
and Arnold @ 235-240. Gunter may have more muscle in his legs
but not a 50 pound difference. The difference is in bone structure.
They were both the same height.

Outrageious tapers from huge muscle bellies to smallish joints is arguably the most defining factor in BB greatness. Oliva for example. the 2 best BBs of the last 25 years or so Wheeler and Coleman late 90s. Robinson, Fox, Nubret, Schwarzenegger, Padilla.

Gunter & Ferrigno couldn't compete with Schwarzenegger on this; their muscle volume relative to height and bone structure wasn't sufficient, aside from other factors.

The lack of dramatic contrast between muscle size and bones is something that Schwarzenegger mentioned in the 90s, referring the negative trajectory of BB in general and Yates indirectly.
