Look straight up I have never tried a max deadlift in my life. However, if I am going to be asked if I can deadlift X amount what am I supposed to do lie? If I were to give you an estimate of what I think my max would be 500lbs is that estimate. I could be wrong I don't know myself. However, given what I have previously lifted and how it felt that seems reasonable to me. Maybe I can't you could ask me what chances or odds I give myself that may be a better question.

This is my reasonable expectation as off now with a straight bar. If I were to attempt 405lbs and see how that felt I could update those odds.

If I were to do some deadlifts next week I could update these odds but that is my legit honest best guess as of now. I said I think I can do it I didn't say with 100% confidence

If I had to bet on it, I'd say his father just expected more from him but mummy coddled him. He'd throw tantrums whenever she didn't give him what he wanted and this escalated after daddy died.
