It should be noted that max effort deadlifts performed for single reps typically require 1.5 to 2 weeks to recover totally. When bands are added, this timetable can extend up to 3 weeks.

So, what does that have to do with your lift.  A "max effort" is one in which no more weight could be lifted.  You are claiming you can do more...so your shitty deadlift was NOT a max effort.

You may have lifted the weight...but you used straps and that nullifies your claim of 'vice like grip'...even your bullshit of 'not engaging' on the 405...they were wrapped, you gripped them.

Fuck off with your nonsense.

Never seen a bigger retard, struggle so much with a 2x body weight deaflift and then congratulate themselves like they just rivalled Eddie Hall.

Yeah I am not deadlifting 2 days in a row I am not retarded no thanks

You're retarded allright. For many a reason you've unintentionally displayed here over your time on getbig.

And forget the claims of 'working for yourself' you are a trust fund bitch living off an inheritence and having to downsize as you chew through what's left. Aint no other reason to do so. It's why you couldn't fix the interior of your previous residence. Why half your toys have had to have been sold.

Yet with all this free time you waste it online instead of being at least half a father. You fucken worthless lowlife. And it doesn't matter what I lift or don't or how I look in the mirror, you are a shit stained excuse for a father, and your kid is going to pay the price for it you arsehole. Your selfishness sickens all the real men on this board.

Updated Odds and confidence level after 425lbs

Trap Bar
450 99%
500 85%

Straight Bar
450 90%
500 30%

I just dont feel my legs working at all on the straight bar like I did with the trap bar going to bring feet closer and try that

I also could not move my fucking arm a couple weeks ago and have been taking it easy. I am currently 210lbs not 235lbs that makes a difference

It may cause it to be harder though - not feeling in the legs doesn't mean "more power" if you do feel it in the legs.

Trap bar is more of a squat and you generally engage from lower (even if you've got the handles up) because your grip is from wider, not feet position.  Actually, I'm not sure if it is engaging from lower, it certainly engages from a place more naturally in the squat.  You're not easily going to replicate that with deadlift because your arms aren't by your sides.

I have pretty short arms and in my biggest deadlifts, I actually pulled with a slightly wider grip so that I was engaging from lower but it probably isn't easier in most cases.

Additionally, don't listen to anybody here who goads you about straps, if you change to mixed grip, you could well make the lift even more asymmetrical than it was.   That's a retarded thing to do for someone who has trained max deadlifts once.

Last I checked straps are allowed in strongman and most people train with straps. Additionally, I am not wearing a belt a belt helps bullshit it is just for safety

I charge for coaching.  You got free re-hab advice.

Besides that, I have posted two deadlift videos...they show how a deadlift is performed.

Last we checked you weren't training for any strong man event.  You want to use strongman events though...you TRIED to poke fun at my sandbag work in the past.  Something STRONGMAN have used.  Sop which is it Brian?

Correct once I have felt a weight and I am comfortable then maybe. I do feel more comfortable using a mixed grip for lighter deadlifts its easier. But to use a mixed grip on a weight you have never pulled before is retarded as you could have miscalculated and over strain the bicep. Not risking my bicep

Thats pretty good Krank. I notice your knees are actually in front of the bar at one point and it slides up the shin. You are closer than I was I will give that a try. You have earned the right to talk about my form and lift. Others have not you are wearing a belt though and it is the same weight I pulled. I notice you are over under as well.

Do you worry about cracking the cement with the weight in your garage?

I also think the current weight difference between myself Krank and SC is negligible given our height differences. If you guys think I am on the everything but the kitchen sink at 206lbs I dont know what to tell you.

I am def going to wear some cool socks next time

No he got 2 reps can't deny that but that belt is helping and the over under is just different. If you want to talk shit about me using straps go over over and talk shit otherwise its apples to oranges on the grip.
