Came in at 98 which they said was within normal range however the EKG was not which pisses me off because cardiologist doesn’t know I am a weight trained athlete and it’s expected
I'm not a cardiologist, but what Krank said sounds right. You most likely have weight lifters heart with the LVH. However, weiight lifters heart can be different with steroids used for a long time where it becomes pathological due to more hypertrophy. I have LVH and my EF was real bad for a while during illness but recovered to "almost normal," maybe had a lot to do with the BP drugs I got on. Normal EKG. I have the same pulse issue, I "overdose" a beta blocker on doctor's orders but it's stilll high. I know the pulse can be higher due to reduced pump efficiency, a compensatory mechanism. Tbombz who no longer posts here went into heart failure and he himself attributed it mostly to GH, but there were the AAS and strong stims too. His EF recovered without getting off steroids, just no GH. Of course NO cardiologist would advice steroid use after heart failure, true HRT at most. John Meadows went on 200mg and I think his cardiologists were on board, but it was maybe a compromise weighing in his mental health if he lost all muscle, I don't know. Commenters of course opined the high test was ill adviced. But I understand the deal, I didn't get off steroids either but use way less. He was using 40iu a day when he got into trouble and that is an uncommon dose even by pro standards. I know posters will say bhank uses 54iu but I know it was just that one day. If I'm mistaken about this heart stuff I think Krank can correct me, looks like he really knows his shit.
Anyway like I've said, I'm curious about the results from this surgery and am amazed he was even willing to try. I have a similar looking pec, won't get this surgery, but it's interesting.
