Regarding the agoraphobia, it's a real thing and it can be serious enough to completely paralyze you and take you out on every plane. I've had it, now I'm just diagnosed with social phobia

I don't know about bhanks but weed often makes phobias and fears worse.
Quite a few have problems with small spaces, let's say even taking an MRI, it's rough for me, but wide open spaces can be just as panic inducing. I had to humiliate myself and beg for 10mg of diazepam before an MRI or gastroscopy or what have you. I have a very "tough" friend who freaked out during an MRI and said he was never going in again, you'd have to shoot me first, I'm not going in no matter what you give me first, would rather die.
Typically, someone who had worked at that level for years wouldn’t think twice about a $60 cab ride, flying coach after surgery, or making a mid-life career change. It raises questions about the circumstances:
I don't know about everyone else but ime the more money you have the more stingy you generally are. Like monitoring where a quart of milk is cheapest or turning off and on the faucet when brushing teeth. I don't really know any high rollers as such but if you're 75 and you have millions but forego taking a long shower to save money I think it's kind of fucked. These types usually do have the most money but at some point I know I'd like to relax and not worry about small expenses.
