Lmfao at the time I remember thinking “am I taking crazy pills?? Why isn’t anyone questioning this?”
I’m glad to see my 10-year campaign for the truth is paying off!
I didn't even realise he made those claims so long ago, just saw the most recent posting, and didn't even go hard on him. The thing is, the loads were exquisitly chosen, it wasn't wasn't 1000lbs squats, it was impossible, but the uninitiated might go along with it.
Here's Casey Viator's famous claim
"Legs (conventional method)
1.) Leg Press 750 lbs. x 20 reps.
2.) Leg Extension – 250 lbs. x 14 to 20 reps.
3.) Full Squat – 505 x 14-20.
4.) Leg Curl – 150 x 14-20.
These exercises are done one after the other without the usual rest associated with such large poundages. I would like to see anyone else duplicate this."Now you can question this, I certainly do, but it's not so far out of the realm of possibilty as The Scott's claimed workout imo. Tell me who has ever claimed close to what Scott did? Now either Scott was clueless or he didn't care to cement his claim of being the best squatter until then and still until today, otherwise he would be the legend of legends, undisputed #1, if someone serious vouched for it. Wenning is one beast who can and probably did beat Platz's famous set (Platz's is questionable in itself due to the characters involved).
Fortress said Platz told him he had done a set with 315 for slightly over 50, not the 405 × 50 × two sets some articles claimed. I believe Fortress, he doesn't baloney around about strength. I said earlier that I tend to believe true strength lovers about their loads because the one you're hurting is yourself if you lie. It's a matter of honor, serious shit

If someone did manage Scott's workout, it might take 6 months to recover from, possibly even ending a career (great way to finish a career though, who cares what you did after, glorious).
