I wonder if Bill regrets turning down the opportunity Mr. Joe Weirder gave him to compete in the bodybuilding world? I wonder if he would still be in this mess if he took the chance to compete.

Also is are going to point out all his faults I would like to remind everyone Kaz could never beat Lex Lugar for the WCW championship and he wasn’t that great of a tag team partner to Rick Steiner.

That rubbed me the wrong way as well.  It smacks of greed and insults everyone who donated to meet the original goal, which ostensibly reflected genuine need.  And why doesn’t a grown man have health insurance at this stage of his life… after being in front of cameras for so many years?  Where did all his income go?

Who are you asking for a financial accounting of his funds, his life is on the line and he needs money.


Side note I think I read he still owns, or at least runs, a gym.

I actually like what little I knew of Kaz (photos and video clips), but destroying me, or anyone else, in a powerlifting contest is not an accomplishment in life.  You know what is? Being able to pay for your own health care without becoming a public beggar.  Yeah, I can do that.  8)

When I croak, my heirs will get $4-7 million (depending on market conditions) divided among them and disbursed over several years.  Any guesses what Kaz’s heirs will get?  Some WSM trophies I suppose… and bragging rights about how strong their dad was.  Personally I’d prefer the cash. :-X

SWAT Gym of Opelika, AL. He hasn't had that one or the earlier one in maybe 15 years. SWAT had the ugliest colors imaginable. It was supposed to be camo, but it came out various colors of pea green and baby shit browns.

He also had a small import / export business for a bit, DynaKaz of Opelika that did ok for a bit, but is gone too.

Years ago, he had a job with Auburn university, and just stayed down there afterward.

I won't dox his old house, but it was very modest. Odd guy to figure out.

Just thinking about it in the late 90s early 2000s Kaz had a deal with Met-Rx. I remember the commercial he referenced 70 rep sets.

A national tv commercial had to be a very lucrative deal!

As you are aware, selling a property for X dollars does not mean that the seller pockets X dollars.  Asking for help to pay medical bills isn’t really what I would call a “stunt” either.
