He is kind of a paradox to me. He clearly has little knowledge and doesn't care. He isn't 'cultured' and isn't an 'intellectual'. I can easily believe what Epstein said that Trump has tantrums like a 9 year old, which he said can be shocking if you don't know him; he has these tantrums publicly which is funny for us but should be embarrassing for him, but obviously isn't. I wonder what Putin thinks of him, their video chats would be (comedy) gold. Putin would go reference Ivan the terrible and Trump would be clueless (someone mentioned this recently, I didn't know who he was either of course lol). But here's the thing... some very intelligent and intellectual analysts say that Trump isn't a dummy, he isn't an actual idiot, he couldn't have become President if he was, nor done anything in real estate. Another aspect that has been brought up by psychologists is that supposedly his father was an actual cruel psychopath that formed Trump's psyche. Trump has also said that it's a dog eat dog world, everyone is out to get you, everyone wants you money, your power, your wife, everything... and these are your friends, so he has this oppositional exterior. So maybe that's why fucking his friends wives is a thing for him (speculation), do it yourself before they do it to you. I'm not terribly intelligent myself, I'm just trying to figure out who he is. I think there's a certain attraction to Trump for some precisely because he is like this, we haven't really seen anything like this before

I think trump likely has an issue with his pre-frontal cortex- which can be trauma, adhd etc.. its essentially the part of the brain that controls impulses, basic instinctual repression, executive functioning etc. If he was abused emotionally his limbic system would be mostly in control and his world would be a simplified binary. In lacanian terms the poor guy is stuck in the imaginary and has yet to enter into the triadic system of the symbolic. The unconscious is enacted, so during development he is told he is shit, less than etc and as an adult he acts out that unconscious schema (enacts it) via the compensatory behaviours noted above.

Being able to sit and read, pay attention, think through things requires the PFC working appropriately. He is clearly not high iq, he isn't dumb but isn't all that bright. What I do notice is that his emotional IQ is high, he has very good theory of mind and shows signs of the dark triad, which allows him to use strategies those with ethics wouldn't. Like its not smart to lie and manipulate, its anti-social but its a damn good strategy for getting ahead. Being willing to utilize those tactics requires anomie on fleek, and if you judge the outcome you could say he is smart, when really he just took advantage of skirting the rules others follow.

I have a friend who is an engineer and claims to be a physicist (works at a nuclear plant writing some kind of "reports" is all I know) but in my estimation he is dumb as rocks, kind of like Trump where he has almost zero knowledge of anything. I'm a high school dropout. Anyway I told him you can't really increase IQ much at all by "learning the test" nor can you increase it by reading and education. He got mad as hell, almost wanted to fight me, I think he took it as me saying he was stupid, which I wasn't and wasn't the point. He claimed he knows you can easily increase your IQ test results by 50%. Who is right?

I'm just curious if Necrosis or someone else has an opinion how much you could increase your IQ test scores by test taking or whatever, my understanding is that it's by a very small amount if at all. Unfortunately, especially for me, reading does not not increase raw IQ, only knowledge possibly, and the reading material should be high quality as well, filling your head with bullshit is harmful

Though the Chinese and others do get a ton of coaching for test taking for Uni and it helps them, and those results are sometimes used as proxies for estimating IQ My buddy somehow became and engineer so he should be way smarter than me, probably has a much higher IQ, but he seems like an absolute moron most of the time. Never ever reads anything, no news, nothing, almost zero knowledge of current events etc, but sure has an opinion on everything regardless.

I still say the sex thing is not the main reason they don't want people looking into it. Like one fella said, "No one can explain how Epstein suddenly had a wealth of half a billion on paper, and on top of that lived a lifestyle like he was worth 10 billion."
At the same time, he probably did have kompromat on a lot of people, may not even have to do with sex stuff either, he had claimed in 2016 that he had knowledge of stuff that if made public it would bury both candidates and the election would have to be cancelled. Could be empty boasting, but maybe not...
