Funny story:  according to Hulk Hogan, he had the opportunity to endorse either a grill or a meatball shaker, and he ended up choosing the latter. The grill then went to George Foreman, who turned it into the massively successful George Foreman Grill. Hogan has mentioned in interviews that he regrets not picking the grill, as it became a huge commercial success, whereas his product, the Hulk Hogan Thunder Mixer, did not achieve the same level of popularity.
Good story but who knows if it is true. Hogan tends to stretch the truth a little.

I remember when Simon Weston tried to bring out his own version of the George Foreman grill. He's so proud of it, he put his face on it.

I used to make chili dogs on the Foreman Grill to “knock out the fat!”

Even Hulk Hogan himself couldn’t knock out the champ!

Oh really?  That’s a very funny thing to claim, because the PPV broadcasts of the title fights didn’t HAVE ad breaks.

Joswift addressed this but PPV wasn’t a true option until the mid 80’s. Another neat thought that will blow your mind, in the 1940s fights weren’t even on TV!

I like your list. Wladimir Klitschko was dominant in his era, but I also leave him out the top ten.

Thanks bud. Wladimir could certainly make a case for top ten. He has 2nd most title defenses in history I believe behind Joe Louis.

Haha, yeah it's an old one, but it's brutal. It used to be the height of UK military humor to take the piss out of him. Around 12 years ago a few of us spent the week doing a course at a fire station and Weston came up in the banter. One of the guys mentioned that he's known for being a prick in real life and quick as a flash the instructor said 'yeah, he was a right cunt in A Nightmare on Elm Street!'

.

That's a sad pic, you can see the desperation in his eyes.

--------------------------

"Why was the Hulk Hogan grill recalled?"

"Unfortunately, the item was recalled by the Consumer Product Safety Commission in 2008. According to the CPSC website, the grill can "ignite and/or flare up" if cooking oils or sprays are applied to any of the cooking plates."

.

Poor guy has had a terrible year. First the divorce, and now I hear he just got booted off Celebrity Masterchef for burning his chops.

Seemed like a big nice guy. I figured he was healthy enough to live past 76, although like others have pointed out, I assumed he was older than that.

He took the vax and then died.
