Invest your protein powder money for the future welfare of Grape and Grape-lings.

My small consumption of protein powers is not affecting my investment strategies.

I enjoy them, and they make it much easier for me to eat, so the money is well spent.

Whey don't eat

However, no.

While I do choose the grass fed option for meats whenever possible, I'm drawing the line here.

Pain don’t hurt

yep, with a million and one addatives , its fucking chemical shit

Which is why I recommended buying plain protein powder without flavorings or anything else. Not trying to lecture you or anyone on stuff you already know, but everything is a "chemical," a chemical in itself isn't bad, depends on what it is as well as dose :D
Generally the allowed additives in protein powders aren't dangerous IMO.

For example this:

Whey Protein Isolate, Cocoa, Lecithin, Sea Salt, Stevia Leaf Extract.

Cocoa is a health food and so is lecithin, for example it contains a lot of phosphatidylcholine which is good for your liver, is a component of liver cells, and is even sold as a drug for liver health, called Essentiale Forte which some juicers use. Some mentioned fibers like guar gum. IIRC it works as a treatment for cholestatic hepatitis, which is what it's called when steroid users get jaundiced. Guar gum affects bile flow somehow. I haven't looked at Stevia but it appears "natural," as if that in itself actually means anything, but for many ignoramuses it apparently does :D

Beef could have been antibiotic, trenbolone and estrogen treated, and if grass fed, what chemicals landed on the grass when it rained? :D

I am even more confident now that I am on the side of righteousness.

Rambone and I will chuckle in subtle, mocking tones at the unwashed heathens who attempted to discourage us.

Walmart is the best place to buy protein. Pick up some clothes while you're there. The new Spring Collection is out. And pick up a classic Casio Calculator watch for $21 bucks. Check out the Swiss Army Knives while you're there. I've become obsessed with multi-tools lately.

This level of value and quality is really hard to beat these days. I mean, you can find better value if you keep your eye for deals. I'm too lazy to do that. When I want something, I just want to buy something good right now and know it's not a rip-off.

This does that for me, anyway.

If you know how Costco treats the Kirkland brand, then you know they put their manufacturers through some of the most stringent and over-the-top quality control standards for the foods/items that are Kirkland. So, you at least have some sense that the thing wasn't thrown together in the dark with flexible standards (which, is quite typical with supplements). Also, Costco is loathe to take price increases as compared to most companies that "aren't Costco", which I appreciate.

Bunch a of fake natties in here using MCT oil.

It’s worth our time to do a little research and pay a little extra possibly if you want a protein powder.

I am indeed pro protein powder if you can find a brand you have some belief in.

I find isolated proteins are easily digestible and a go, but I make sure it is emulsified.

I melt butter and slowly pour it in as I blend.

You're too kind Grape!

But, for those of you keen on protein powders, notice how eerily similar the Kirkland brand is to Optimum Nutrition whey (coincidentally located immediately adjacent to Kirkland, at any Costco).

But Kirkland, is nearly $20 less.

How is that so?

Ahh....capitalism. Thy sting, we know too well. (but damned if we don't love it!)

Ya, it’s despicable these cheaters taking the easy way out.

Here is undeniable proof of a study showing MCT oil increases muscle.

Years ago when the rumor of Kirkland French vodka being made by Grey Goose was going around, I was heading over to France for a traveling gig.  My buddy that owned a couple of bars here set me up with a private tour of the Grey Goose site through their reps.  It was a very interesting tour.  At the end I asked about the Kirkland brand at Costco and they told me that they had nothing to do with it.  But that the factory that produced it was only about an hour away.  And they used the EXACT same equipment - right down to the product/model number, sourced their base ingredients from the EXACT same vendor, and followed the EXACT same production and distilling method that Grey Goose did.  They copied it exactly from top to bottom.  I asked about copyrights or trademarks and such but was told that there was nothing that could be done because it was not available for public sale.  Which is why you would never see the Kirkland brand in bars, restaurants or liquor stores.  But they admitted it was basically the exact same, just a different bottle.  And that nearly all of the Kirkland brands were exact copies of the original product.

You really are a stupid little gimp. While Lurker and I are Complete opposites on the political spectrum - he seems like a decent dude. (Just needs to man up and come to the fiscal right). You on the other hand are some limp wristed weirdo who dreams of following a man in a dress with 12 other dudes… seems perfectly normal ??? lol.

I am me. Only me and not a soulon here doubts that. You literally live here - so if it helps you hold off killing yourself call me whatever you want. It’s cool little feller - but if you would just pledge allegiance to the true lord Satan he would help you

That’s pretty cool to know. Thanks for the info man. But since that dumbass Royalty says we are one and the same I guess I already knew??? I am not real good at this “gimmick” thing (I still don’t fckn understand the concept)

Oh, I'm well versed on the excellence of Costco and their practices.  I've booked vacations, refinanced my mortage, etc......they utilize their enormous buying power and pass on a lot of the savings to the customer.

As for the kirkland stuff, yes, of course certain brands are required to also distribute the same product under the kirkland name.  There are various rumors and such of which is which. For example, I believe duracell batteries is confirmed, whereas the rumored Grey Goose was false, yet produced in a similar area (although you can't do better than their 1.75 Kirkland vodka or 100% agave tequilia for $20).

EDIT:  Just saw lurker's post.  He explained it the Grey Goose part better and provided real stuff I didn't know about.
