The Freestyle Libre 3 is expensive, but once a doctor oks it, you can get deals from various pharmacies sometimes. Last time, we got a 2-pack at CVS for $150 for both, which was the best deal so far. But kinda cool watching the 'glucose' levels as I learn, what I can eat or not.
For instance, I go to a sushi place or dumpling place, and the levels shoot up extremely for a few hours, so staying away from those.
But today, I ate a huge piece of ice cream vanilla cake, and shot up a little, and then went way down.
For me, eating more fat and protein slows down the glucose rising rate, and makes it go down lower. For others, different experiences.
