Taken OFF life support sounds positive, unless it's for "do not revive" reasons. Keep fighting Tim! Actually I don't doubt Tim's will to fight, hoping the planets align in his favor. :)

Yes he mentioned many months ago that a doc said it was positive if he lost some weight before surgery. Recently he has complained of losing an alarming amount weight and his appetite was very poor, couldn't eat. Obviously you'd want to keep some muscle and strength to help you fight illness. This is not about Tim per se, but a measure of probable longevity in the elderly is measuring their grip strength, which I find interesting  8)
