Don't stress it, mate. It's just a bit of fun. No one needs to take sides. I agree with you regarding cliques in real life, but this is just everyone provoking Brian for a laugh because he's guaranteed to put on a show. He could simply not visit the place; instead, he's spazzing out in front of his family and friends on Facebook, haha.

Speaking of fight challenges, Heck has thrown down the gauntlet and is willing to meet Hankins on neutral territory. It's just two behemoths, stripped to the waist, mano-a-mano until one of them surrenders. As a former MMA champion and seasoned dojo-stormer, there's surely no way that Brian will turn this challenge down  :o.

Squats are the most productive exercise known to man, infact i rate them even over Deadlifts. True people with lower back problems might have a problem but if you can Squat then Squat.
Rather than loading a leg press machine with ridiculous weights is not the answer. Leg pressing 600-700 rather than Squatting 300 just proves how efficient a Squat is as a basic exercise.
Hack Squats are in my opinion a better option than leg press & if using free weights with a Barbell, much more direct.
Iīm actually surprised you never addressed the Sissy Squat ala Doug Brignole  ;D

Squats are a decent core excercise as long as you dont go overboard with weight

I feel Squats are a very deep exercise..i mean they hit everything all the deep tissue & muscle fibres. Leg Press (seated) is OK & i feel a burn but not the deep muscle pain & amount of fibres when doing BB Squats
Maybe iīm more suited to Squats
If you do not Squat for a while then do them with even mild poundages youīve trouble sitting on the toilet..Leg press you donīt (or i donīt) get this.

Regarding Deadlifts i wrote i rate squats as an exercise over them so i can only assume youīre trying to deflect from the main topic which is squats (in our conversation)

maybe you got injured doing Squats i donīt know but for many people itīs a very good productive leg builder.

Great set. However, and this is not a critique, these would probably not pass depth at an IPF meet. Years ago a judge and a former IPF World Champs medaler judged my squats and called me on depth; I almost literally couldn't get to dept with my body structure. I have to use a smith machine and place feet in front to go really deep. But it's questionable if it's even needed for bodybuilding training like you are doing. Please don't get my comment wrong, I'm sure you won't, because it's just a discussion on proper depth and what constitutes below parallel especially in a competitive setting. People like Mike Israetel take the 'full range' debate to an absurd level sometimes.

I think the first one is just passable and the second is way below parallel. Opinions?
Third is a 'famed' training hall set.

i think Ro definitely got to proper depth for a PL meet.

Lol. Brian wasn't good enough to wrestle in college. He never so much as wrestled 1 match in college. He claims he was banned from parts of highschool wrestling for being too good. Truth is he was an average highschool wrestler.

225-lb squat = moving all 225 lbs vertically
225-lb leg press = moving 225*sin(45°) = 160 lbs vertically

I am just stating a basic physical fact on why leg press weights are heavier than squat weights.  Not sure why you got all sensitive about it.

Deadlifts and squats feel great for me and definitely aid in building a powerful looking physique but I do them for the enjoyment, the challenge and the mental/spiritual benefits first.
