I'm team anybody who wants get stronger, it's an honorable pursuit and a lot of fun.  Just don't push it too fast.  You want to be squatting this time next year.  If you are, it'll be interesting to see where you can get to.

Good news on the wraps.  You're going to love the extra stability.  Making depth will be far easier and GB will love blaming your lifts on equipment.  Win win.  All I would say is don't use them all the time.  If you do, you'll probably degrade in the knee stability department without (happened to me).  There was a time this year where I'd rather have been squatting my first wrap weight of 315 than 220 without.  I've fixed that by not using them for the last 6 months but I think you can probably avoid that as long as you don't rely on them too much.

Now, before you throw me off your team, Brian.  Know this, I am a programmer by trade and just about everybody I know is on the spectrum, including myself.  I call it from seeing it, day in day out.  I can see it in your eyes and your facial expressions in those photos - same shit as what happens to me in some photos.  You are on the spectrum.  Consider learning about it.  It'll help your kid because the apple rarely falls far from the tree.  It's nothing bad but knowing what you are will help tremendously.
