Maybe part of that ankle bracelet thing is him keeping off of GB knowing how angry and obsessed he becomes and the parole/probation officer saw it?
This place used to piss people off in the industry on a weekly basis. It was a lot worse, back then. He never reveals the trouble he has had (or IF he has had trouble).
