Okay how about “skinny, weak drug abusing fag with a huge head”?

You happy now?

😂

That’s way more descriptive!

Imagine lying on your LinkedIn profile. Well he is paying for LinkedIn premium. Unless he’s using the free trial.

Could be the party is over and his wife is forcing him to get a job or else.

I'd love to be a fly on the wall when he tries to explain those massive gaps.

Level 1 of the CFA Institute program is a $350 online program that introduces students into becoming an analyst. The full program is 3 exams ($1,200) combined with qualifying work experience and 2-3 professional references to apply for Chartered Financial Analyst designation. The CFA Institute claims once you have become a Chartered Financial Analyst you are qualified to work in senior-level executive positions in asset management, RMS, or investment management positions. This is patently untrue.

Brian Hankins would never meet the CFA Institute code of ethics or standards of professional conduct if the Institute knew his true background.

It's my understanding the employment gaps aren't really a big topic anymore.  Covid, etc changed a lot of that, and many recruiters encourage not even putting dates next to employment history.

I think a 12 year gap could be a bit of a problem. Telling people he was working on a fishing boat and is a champion race car driver may impress some people online, but not a real job.

He would have to pull out some serious semhanktics to explain how he has currently been employed since 2022 considering they booted him years ago.

Even if he did get a job, he will still fail employment verification. He is desperate though like the thousands of others I see on Reddit who overestimate their abilities.

Too bad you weren’t born brilliant Hanky..

He could say a million things - day traded, Covid, etc....it's not a big deal anymore.

In his case, his internet history will definitely hurt him.

Maybe but will it hurt Hank Woodkins?

I hope so for hanky's sake but if memory serves he was jobsearching after his contract ended and got nowhere.

Anecdotally, I've been told by a top tier recruiter that in my domain your chances go way down if interviewing while unemployed.

And he was interviewing during a time when Covid rules still applied in many places, now post Trump a lot of that shit has been tossed aside and employees need to be back in the workplace a lot more.  Competition is much stiffer than even 3 years ago.  Also the gaps in employment still matter, they were just being ignored becuase people were desperate for employees.  They aren't anymore.

It could be the case for sure, I just know it doesn't have the stigma it once did in our field.

Yep, its best to take a shitty job while looking for another rather than sitting about unemployed.

What employment are we talking about?

I understand it if you’re apply for a high level executive somewhere, you want people who are in tune with whatever your market is, or even a grocery store manager should have recent experience managing a team.

Do we really think some investment company’s willing to hire Hankins even if he was managing his own portfolio? The last several jobs he had were what positions exactly? I think his best job was the accounting manager or bookkeeper or whatever he was doing. He can still find those types of jobs. Work history won’t matter as much, getting through an interview will.
