Statins and anavar lipid results.

Just figured I would post this for anyone curious if the statins would work. As I remember asking this question here a few years ago and no one knew an answer and there is nothing on google about it that I could find.

So I took anavar for 3 months
2 weeks 12.5mgs daily
4 weeks 25 mgs a day
6 weeks 37.5 mgs a day


All these numbers were done 2 weeks prior to starting.
My total cholesterol before was 171
My bad cholesterol was 89
Good cholesterol was 61
Triglycerides 103

I took 20mgs of atorvostatin eod and my results after were

These numbers were 2 weeks post cycle
Total after 168
Bad after 91
Good after 60
Triglycerides 105

Mind you I did no cardio and ate a lot of crap.

The results were awesome imo, got very dry, lots of vascularity in my chest and shoulders and arms, great separation,tight,crazy pumps and rock hard erections. It definitely burned fat as well.

All in all huge fan of anavar.

Any side effects? My total cholesterol was 220 and my triglycerides were 212. Gasp! Doctor put me on lipitor. I was terrified of the side effects I read online all the time but there's been zero side effects. I really thought I'd suffer but I felt much better since I started. I've changed my diet (my diet gave me high cholesterol) and I've been pretty strict but its only been a week and half so side effects may kick in. Walking 3 miles a day and lifting 3 times a week (full body of squats, deadlifts, rows, bench's, standing overhead presses). Go back in Febuary to see if statins are helping.

My cholesterol is up around 270. I was on crestor for about a year a few years back and had it down in the 170’s but stopped because I didn’t like it. For me it’s genetics. I can get it to around 212 total with exercise but not lower. I’ve done a few executive physicals and what not and seem to be in good health. Calcium score of zero,  nuclear stress test shows no blockages etc. I’m wondering when it will start falling apart. Sorry to hijack the thread Rob

No sides at all and I’ve been on for 3 years. I did take them daily and relaxed that eod works the same and some say 2-3 times a week works the same. I’m always of the less is more group. 220 and 212 isn’t shit I wouldn’t have even started at those numbers. You are fine. But yes your number will drop significantly in a few weeks. Mine is more genetic but definitely some diet. Mine weren’t really bad when I started but I’ve been on so I’ll stay on, prob switch to twice a week in a while.

Yeah the lowest I could get mine was right around 212 ish as well and that was being down to 215 with eating crazy fruit and veggies and walking 2-3 hours a day. Mine is genetic as well. But with all those tetanus say who cares. You seem good. And no problem.

The most important thing is to keep your triglycerides low and your hdl high.

Total cholesterol and ldl numbers are not relevant but that is what doctors focus on so they can put you on statins to make Big Pharma happy.
