Because you traded the simple way of making coffee for the pain in the ass way with a cool looking appliance.

Well I am just trying to avoid microplastic and pesticides but this is some baroque bullshit

What do you do for drinking water? Ideally having spring water direct from nature in to glass containers is best.

You are correct, I make do with glass bottled spring water.

I am going to return the coffee machine, I don't even think it was new to begin with, the cardboard box did not have a seal and there was some clues on the finish of the metal filter that it had been used. So I feel less bad about taking this shitty amazon company up on their offer of returning garbage products. I guess I will just learn to live without coffee, I am very serious about my intention to avoid microplastic and pesticides where I can (as it can obviously not be avoided in modern life, you still have some control)

Never had a problem with it, good springs in England too no bother.

Today, I enjoyed three cups of coffee, perfectly brewed, with minimal effort.

Meanwhile, unweildy just slogged another disappointing cup of diluted piss water made in this thing while attempting to avoid a single plastic molecule.

Even worse, I had no coffee at all which is a sad situation where you take in reality as it really is without being pumped

Is bone broth filling at all? I've never tried it. Are you supposed to heat it on the stove and then drink it? Or do you eat like soup?

I have tried both making it myself, and buying it.

As well as in soup, or sipping.

The self made was a pain in the ass and tasted bad - need to run it through a cheesecloth to get rid of fat, etc.  The Kettle and Fire store bought stuff tastes good.

You can go the sip route, it's just drinking broth to get the supposed benefits of collagen protein and such.

My go to, which I like, takes 10 minutes to make, tastes great, and has 50-70 grams of protein depending on what you put in:

1 box kettle and fire beef bone broth (costco)
1 brick of lotus foods brown rice and millet ramen (costco)
1 handful of baby bella mushrooms
1 handful of bok choi / broccoli rabe, etc - any veg
meat of choice - generally pre-cooked grass fed sirloin (costco - which is nice becuase you just pour the soup over it), amylu chicken meatballs, elk burger, etc.....

Just cook on medium heat for 10 min....simple.

Occasionally will drop an egg in soup while it cooks last four minutes to poach it.
