Should have stomped them out the first time. Now to say that is a joke. Nobody buys that he'll sack up.
Trump had said "there's no more targets left to hit." Well there were targets, civilian ones like energy, water treatment, bridges, the military ones were underground. But he had promised the civilians that "help is on the way." Plus if the Iranians destroyed the Gulf states that wouldn't be too great for Trump either since they had counted on the US to protect them based on Trump's assurances. Plus now Trump knows much new kinetic action would cause economic bedlam so he felt forced to sign a surrender document in effect, for the time being at least.
I don't know what will happen and how this will develop, and Iran could be vulnerable too but I have a feeling this will be really consequential for Trump and the world. Will Iran be successful in finally driving out the US from the middle east as has been their plan? Is there any chance Trump will use nukes because he won't be able to handle the world seeing him as a loser?
