Oprah seems like a good source to turn to for diet advice.

Not trying to be an ass, but how do you explain to your clients that you, a professional trainer, needed a peptide to lose weight. I find it odd that you're open about your use.

Good points. Its decent of Coach being open about his use of it.

Coach why did you feel you wanted / needed to use it ??

He’s older and his metabolism doesn’t move as fast? Probably same for TRT.

If they ask I tell them. I also tell them that I'm regimented about my use. I keep track of my food intake (I've been doing that for the last 7 years), I'm in a healthy calorie deficit that allows me to drop no more than 1.5-2lbs a week and that before I started I researched the hell out of it. I also explain that all this is, is new aid for fat/weight control in a long list of past "fat burning' and weight loss aids for the last 50 years.

For the record, I only have 6 in person clients. I don't have time to be filling my schedule with training clients.

I'll be 64 in August. I've never carried anymore than 12-15% BF at any one point in the last 15 or so years but I've always had a ton of muscle. At 64 be it fat or muscle I don't need to carrying around that kind of weight anymore. I wake up at about 192-193 give or take. Had a cheat day yesterday and woke up at 194.8. By goals are different now. I have no desire to compete and knew when to call it quits.

I weigh 225lbs with around 12% BF & I'm 65.  Feel very good & comfortable at this weight.

That doesn't answer why you felt you needed/ wanted to use it ?  You could've easily dieted
The weight off , has it made it much easier for you to get to the weight you wanted to be.

It just makes it easier. Honest answer. I felt good at the weight I was as well but again, being 5'6 and carrying 220 started making me think it's still a lot of weight at my age

If I went on Reta and had money to burn I would add all sorts of other peptides too like MOTS-C and SLU-PP-33, haven't really researched them in depth but there are so many potentially useful things now :D

I tried SLU PP 33 and didn't notice much of anything.  Just my experience.  I also know guys who love it.

Was it inject or oral and what was the dosage? If I'm not mistaken most take a few hundred micrograms. There is one fella on IG and he calculated the equivalent human effective dose from some animal research IIRC. He took  400 milligrams a day and claimed he lost fat and put on about 20lbs of lean mass. I got a sample of 30 x 250mcg caps and I'm going to pop those. I don't expect to notice anything but we'll see. Currently I'm sick and involuntarily very lean so I should notice any additional fat loss by the veins on my stomach LOL.

Appreciate the concern. I researched it for quite a while before making this decision. As for walking, I ruck usually 4 miles 3x a week on the sand and 2 miles on the boardwalk 2 x per week. I'm signed up for a 48 mile March challenge since I usually ruck twice a week anyways
That's a good routing Coach. I'm working on getting my weight down as well. Been going to the gym more often. Also walking the dogs 2-3 miles each day. I should probably increase it to 4 miles some days. I'm going to add the stairmaster into the mix.

If the information out there is anything like bpc/tb500, that means you read the 4 reddit posts that everybody seems to be basing their entire truth/dosages on  ;D

Honest answer should contain whether it's partially that you're used to using something when dropping weight, right?  No judgement on that.  I'd have to say that having used bpc/tb500, I would be a much higher chance of just doing that if I got as much as a little sprain.

Lots of people have this resistance towards using weight loss drugs. Like it's supposed to be hard and should require 'willpower' to lose weight. It's cheating! I don't get this philosophical argument, especially by PED users, but that's just me. I always said on here that the only solution to the obesity epidemic in today's society of abundance is pharmacological. You can preach about willpower as much as you want but many people simply won't ever develop this willpower.

Bodybuilders like Nick Walker are using Retatrutide even in the off-season mass gaining phases. The idea is that it improves nutrient partitioning, partly via insulin sensitizing effects. They say they can use insulin at much lower doses to gain muscle when on Reta. One diabetic bodybuilder said he for example took 5 units of meal time insulin and then took in 150 grams of carbs and still went hypo. I mean in the past I was pretty damn resistant and could sometimes take 20 units, not eat, and still be fine LOL.

Too bad I have this damn chronic pancreatitis, otherwise I'd be using reta or one of the others. I think they are developing combo drugs which also increase IGF-1 at the same time so now you can gain muscle, instead of losing it, while losing fat!
