How do you guys feel about hairpieces for men?

I feel like getting one, but the problem is the social stigma. Women are getting away with murder and men have to be the whipping boys as usual.

I don't think I have enough hair for that. My shit is fucked up. So why are people against hairpieces? I would prefer one you can just put on as you leave the house without the need to glue it to your skull.

No one is against hairpieces. The issue is not a bald/balding person wearing a headpiece, but if they do so and begin to act arrogant. Or if they wear a headpiece and still try to nod towards the other balding/bald folks they used to know at social gatherings/gym. Sorry, you can’t have it both ways. Bald/balding folks at my gym nod towards each other and greet one another. To once nod and greet someone, only to suddenly change appearance, would not be appreciated.

So I can get a hairpiece without being the laughing stock? I am tired of being a baldcel. But I'm also worried that glueing a rug to your scalp might kill off your remaining hair fast. Also it could be a lot of work and cash to maintain  :-\

No you will not be a laughing stock if you get a hairpiece. However, if you were bald for many years, and people were aware that you were bald for many years, and if you have an alliance with a group of bald people in public, it will look extremely odd if you show up with a full head of hair. And if you show up wearing a hairpiece and they noticed this, then any chance of you continuing on as a member of bald alliance/collective with them is going be gone.
If being bald makes you uncomfortable then you owe it to yourself to get a hairpiece and improve your mental health.

The bald community does have “allies”?

At my gym, yes there are bald alliances. Everyone who works out in the morning and who is bald stays in the back corner of the gym to do their workouts. When a fellow bald person walks into the gym, they always make eye contact or nod the head or some even pat each other on the shoulder and say good morning to each other. The people who are not bald stick to themselves, and do not mingle with the bald people. There are bodybuilders who work out together and stay together and greet each other when they come in. Other members stick together and only interact with others who share the same sexual preference as them. We also now have hippies who live in a Scooby Do camper and come in in the middle of the night to shower and defecate. They only talk to the European smelly man that rides a scooter to the gym. The alliances and the different communities do not mingle with each other. They stay separated and they just interact with each other.

I always wonder how gym goers and bodybuilders deal with a hairpiece during hot days and sweat..

LOl

Theres this young big bodybuilder often collaborating with Greg Doucette (don't remember his name but he's popular on social media
thing is he has a very obvious dead cow looking wig on....

Most bodybuilders are delusional though

Usually, women rather see you bald than wearing a hairpiece.

My brother-in-law was bald as a cue-ball and wore a hairpiece.

Looked fake as hell.

O'Hearn is still in incredible condition, unlike most bodybuilders from 20-30 years ago. But of course Getbig obsesses over hair more than anything, lol.

Should we rename this board to GetHair? Seems a lot of guys on here are bald.

Oh, and for the record, I'm Mike O'Hearn. Really. No way I am lying.

He's a bumbling senior citizen who still thinks it's the 1980s. He's no longer relevant in social media or bodybuilding. This is the only place that still mentions him occasionally.

He is NOT still in "incredible condition". He's got a gut, legs have atrophied, wrinkled badly burned leather skin, thinning hair, rotted teeth, nasty circles under eyes, always out of breath when talking, he has trouble getting up off low benches, and he looks like a decomposing ventriloquist's dummy/melting wax statue from Madame Tussauds wax museum.

Getbig does not obsess over hair. 1 or 2 threads here and there about hair is hardly obsessing.
