I do not agree with the social media showing wounded men being tormented & then killed by Drones.
& i might add used for their propaganda as the drone Operators post it

But if people actually see the horrors of war they are less likely to support it.

Look at the Videos & read the comments & the news channels, i am neutral in my opinion
they see a wounded Soldier man or woman as a type of video game

Showing civilians, especially children, would be more of a deterrent. In the US where I live people think war is a video game like you said because the nightly news doesn't really show what is going on.

That worked during the Vietnam War, when we were at times actually committing war crimes.  I don't think it works today.  We make mistakes, but the overwhelming majority of the people we kill in armed conflict are actual bad guys (soldiers, enemy combatants, terrorists, etc.).

I just watched the 4th Rambo last night and looked up the fighting that was going on in Burma (Myanmar) in 2008 to see if things were any better. In 2010 they got better but in 2021 it started all over again. The military there just slaughters anyone they don't like. In many places the enemy are the bad guys. You could make the argument that governments and their military's create all of these conflicts and the world would be much safer without them.
