I'm an absolute supp/drug nerd and remembered this little thing, perhaps uninteresting for most but I would have liked to talk to this MrYouAreSoDumb (genius level fella actually) about this offline because this just can't be correct, something's being missed here

Tongkat Ali is just a herbal supp.

I looked up some of the research on Tongkat Ali- and it is quite the chemical warehouse. Many natural substances are incredible in their composition- I worked for 3 years in a pharma startup as a research chemist and we were developing applications for the Indian Gooseberry.

Goofy name but a chemical factory. One compound, chebulinic acid, can regrow hair. Ive seen the clinical study.

People dismiss herbs as if they can't contain the most powerful drugs/chemicals.

I'm just skeptical Tongkat can raise test to that degree in an old man with long term suppression of the HPTA. It's interesting though but trying to figure out what was actually going on would require more testing. I can't recall the reason but Tongkat is banned in Europe. That poster on Reddit owns a supp company out of Arizona and it seems like he really knows his shit wrt analytical testing of herbs and so on. I mean I can't really judge like you could but he impressed me because a while back a hundred supp companies were selling "Turkesterone" (from Turkestanica Ajuga plant) and this guy came out and said NONE were selling actual Turkesterone! They didn't know what testing was actually needed, the different types of methods, to confirm the plant plus actives and so on. He said when pressed the Chinese said they either didn't know what they were selling either or knew it was something else. The supp industry is dirty as hell and even the honest players can get fooled.

Just in case you have time to waste and feel like skimming this, does this guy know what
he's talking about? If I'm not mistaken he's not a chemist or a scientist himself but learned along the way when he started selling nootropic drugs and research chemicals way back (and was busted by the Feds). Now no more grey area stuff.

That’s too high. Why would you take something that would make it that high? My doc has told me he wants me up to 900-1,000 from my 700 and I told him I’m not interested in having testosterone levels at the rate of an 18 year old. 2,000 is nuts.

Yeah that's a separate discussion, it would just be interesting if anything could raise endogenous production to that degree in such a subject. Others only note a relatively small but perhaps significant increase.

There's a huckster HRT doc on IG who says every male should strive for 2,000 test as that is optimal. Do you just want to get by and nap on the weekends or do you want to get up above the clouds?

I can't find the picture online but I remember Dreher winning (?) or placing high in a NABBA (?) show maybe during the time the IFBB guys were coming in really shredded and not so big. He had the scariest skeleton face! Nothing but a skull and no face. Yikes!
