Yes very true - I don't get why they post up these doctored pics looking real good
& then show up looking soft & watery !!
If they had any sense they'd post up some medicore pics before hand & then show up
Looking awesome, would be a far better impact for them.

Problem is the judges seem to put people were they think they should place based on previous shows and build up pics

You can pretty much call the top 5 every year before they even get to the show

A lot of the problems in bodybuilding is because of judging.
Blatant seo / oil usage,  Bubble Guts, missing calves, etc etc they get rewarded by placing high
If not winning, when they should be marked down.
No doubt Andrew cinque-chew ( whatever the fuck his name is) the amazing walking oil bag will
place very well at the Olympia.
Yet I wouldn't place him at all.

I would put him dead last. It's ridiculous and on YouTube his fanboys fall to their knees foaming T the mouth in awe of his literal perfection. Makes me vomit in my mouth.

The pic of samsons leg is from a video it's not doctored at all. He looks very impressive. Getting on par with Dorian and Ronnie. And I am not bullshitting you.

I think he got too big off-season he's either going to compete around 320 which would be a 20 pound jump over last year or he's going to lose a lot of muscle getting in shape. Supposedly he was 350 this off season.

I do think he "overdieted" last year. A pre-comp guest posing was posted here and I was like damn he looks ready now and looks like he may be a little small, he needs to eat up. He didn't.

In 1993 Dorian shocked the bb community with his new size. Dorian said he didn't put a ton of muscle on actually. He just didn't diet as long as he realized he went too far the year before.

But Samson needs to be in tip top shape to win so he may panic and drop too much again. It's a balance.

Obvious injections for site enhancement like Lumpsford's giant boils on his lats should be DQ'd, in a perfect BBing world.

Some were arguing they were swollen lymph nodes due to I forget what :D But not SEO.

It was weird because you'd think they wouldn't use anything that might cause a reaction like that, for example a new untested product. It looked like a massive inflammatory or allergic reaction. Iris Kyle had those massive lumps on her ass. It was most likely new gear she had never used before.

I didnt have any shots full stop a week out from a show in case I ended up with a bad reaction which would show up onstage

Many pros and amateurs say they do that for that reason. Then a day out they shoot up their bodies with all kinds of crap :D

Some coach said all fitness chicks shoot up their asses.

Mediphorm is popular especially in the UK. It attracts water where it's injected. You familiar?

Not trying to be a besserwisser LOL but I seem to remember it was used as any anabolic in medicine, like in catabolic conditions. The swelling was an unwanted side effect. After it disappeared some touted Nolotil as a replacement which was a pain killer but I seem to remember it could be used in infants to swell up certain body parts to make surgery easier or something like that (could be mistaken here).
Some bodybuilders are really ignorant and I remember Flex Wheeler saying Esiclene "wasn't even a steroid." He said he had someone inject him all over before shows and it would make him pass out ???

A couple of years ago I saw Sas Heirati had weird looking rear delts at a show and thought he probably used Mediphorm.

Since I'm a drug nerd, I happened on a description of GH used experimentally in combination with hyaluronic acid (Mediphorm) in joints like for example knees for a local healing effect. The hyaluronic gel would keep the GH local for longer. I thought it was interesting. Bodybuilders use certain peptides like IGF-1 DES in body parts they hope to grow and perhaps mixing it with that gel could improve results :D

See the rear delts on Sas here:

 :D

In some situations "bodybuilding drugs" could be "healthy" though :D

"Growth hormone triggers early neovascularization, which is crucial in producing stem cells for cartilage regeneration and stimulates chondrocytes to synthesize type II collagen. Combination with hyaluronic acid (HA), with its large particle size, increases the GH effect duration in joints. Intra-articular GH injection has shown promising results in cartilage regeneration and repair in knee osteoarthritis, as stated in available preclinical studies, without systemic adverse effects."
