Coach, I think we share a lot of common ground politically, small government, lower taxes, importance of gun rights, and pushing back against the woke ideology. But I’ve never agreed with the idea that we somehow lose our right to complain about our government and its leaders. Not to single you out, because you aren't the only person who I've heard this from and I hear it from both Republicans and Democrats. I think that as Americans we have the right to complain about our leaders whether we voted for them, against them, or didn’t vote at all. That ability to speak freely is part of what makes this country great.

I wanted to be very specific on that. I think what I said that they shouldn't have a right to complain not that they do not have the right. Our votes should count and it's a constitutional right but if someone doesn't chooses not exercise that right, I don't feel they should complain about what those election results might bring.

I don’t understand? The conservative vote didn’t show up knowing how much was riding on this election? They lost the vision after 2 years?

The only logical conclusion is they are disappointed and dissatisfied with the direction of the current administration and chose to refrain from voting against their beliefs.

Or maybe people see through the lies of political parties? Or maybe President Trump failed to address the issues, acknowledge that his vision still needed time and rally the troops to stay strong and hold on? The president needed to be better.

Trump voters did not get what they voted for. My wife and I voted for Trump everytime. His third term has been a disaster. He campaigned on no more foreign, endless wars. He was going to fix America, lower the cost of living. Expose the Epstein offenders. None of this happened. He attacked Iran without provocation. This lead to much higher gas prices. Stole Venezuela's shit.

Trump's America acted like a bully. Nobody likes bullies Coach. Don't you remember in school, the bullies always got what was coming to them? Why would you cheer on Trump's bully-act?

He's obviously in denial, and thinks everything Trump did is what his voters asked for. We all saw the warning signs. Trump's attack on Iran was a major blunder. He also did not cut off aid to Ukraine.

It's hard for me to see how things would be better under Democrats. I completely understand the lack of enthusiasm for the Republicans, as you've pointed out in your posts. I expect Democrats will bring higher taxes and more of the woke ideology. That said, looking for silver linings, some of them seem less likely to rubber stamp Israeli policies. There's also the issue of data center deals signed by politicians who themselves signed nondisclosure agreements. I'm suspicious that those arrangements don't benefit the average taxpayer as much as purported due to the secrecy. If Democrats start peeling back those layers, that could be a genuine positive. I do worry that they'll over regulate the industry though.

But no American president ever understands such simple things. They all count on Big Oil to increase production. Which is not in the interest of Big Oils stock prices, so they hate low oil and gas prices.
