Oh sure, the Dems want to get Trump. That's never changed. But his MAGA base felt betrayed, and uninspired to go vote. How else do you explain the blue sweep in the midterms? I have not looked at any analysis, but can a case be made that the Dems won simply because Republicans failed to vote?

Why would Republicans bother voting if their politicians simply ignored what they campaigned on?

The republicans had the house and senate and didn't get some of Trumps agenda passed, they're weak and pissed away a golden opportunity. That's not on him and when I hear people say that, that's just utter fucking ignorance. They still have over 50 judges that needs to approved, Thune, that useless twat failed to pass the SAVE Act and a shit load more. Going into Iran was and is still a good idea since none of the other previous Presidents (Biden not included since he was never President) promised and did nothing.

When did Trump promise MAGA he would attack Iran when he campaigned for his 2024 election? That's all news to me. My understanding was he promised no more foreign wars, to curb reckless spending, fix things at home, etc.

There was never a major discussion about going to war with Iran the past 2 decades. The US aided Iraq when they used chemical weapons on Iran in the 80s, killing hundreds of thousands. Another example of hypocrisy that the US is known for.

Iran can't have nukes, and will use chemical weapons. Meanwhile the US used nukes and chemical weapons. It's a clown show.

If you look at the actual Ballot measures they went pretty conservative. i.e. Keeping boys out of women in sports, Lower taxes , even in deep blue California a wealth tax was rejected.

Oh no, I'm saying repubs lost the plot and the liberal media took advantage of it for sure.  Repubs are pissed about Trumps BS, understandably, BUT they weren't voting to replace him, they were voting for who is going to lead their state. Now they will have to suffer the consequences in the change of government over their own state. Trump is still president, nothing will change. Now we'll spend the next couple of years watching lawsuits, vetoes, impeachment efforts, etc. There will be no prices lowered, no Epstein list released, no arrests made and poor funk51 will have to keep paying high prices for his eye medication.
