I'm looking for a good personal trainer in New York City. I've gotten to the point where in spite of all my reading and research, I never seem to make any progress. I struggle with consistency and am also the type who gets easily distracted by fad diets/workouts -- Ive come to realise that until/unless I get a true professional to sit down with me and figure out a solid diet & workout plan, I'm going to be running in circles for the foreseeable future.
I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a very knowledgeable personal trainer in NYC, particularly someone who can design a practical, realistic diet for someone (me) who can't cook -- and who preferably has an awesome body to prove that he knows what he's talking about. I also am already a member of a gym near my office and for reasons of location and timings, am not able to join another gym. I'd ideally like someone who could do everything short of actually working out with me -- I have friends who can spot me and see that I'm doing the exercises correctly. I tried a trainer at my gym but was very disappointed; the guy was skinny as a rail and not professional at all.
