I'm sorry, but looking at the pics (and webcast) King looked the same as always. I don't know what he weighed in at but he looked no bigger and softer in the quad, lowback and chest. King can't do anything with his genetics but he can break away from Chad because he's just fucking him up more and more, getting fatter in the offseason does not mean your going to be bigger when you come down for your next show. Gaining a ton weight in the offseason and sticking with powerlifting movements and more than likely using a ton of angrogenic gear is what screwed up his symmetry, at one time he did have decent symmetry, sorry Kamali but you could have done better but it seems you listen to no one else but your "guru" and he basically hasn't done shit for you exept for bringing you in the same show after show and year after year.

You get no respect simply because of the way you used to treat people on here and no one forgets and showed no respect to your peers and thats why you get the disrespect you do especially when you're on here.

You're just mad because I had your web address guygrundy.com pointed at King Kamali's website.  Deal with it or just take some more nubain to soothe your pain

P.S.  I lied to you by the way about trying to give your website address back.  I sold it to a cybersquatter for 200 dollars last year.  Have a good day!

King do you think that you are as strong as 195lb natural mesomorph76 ?

Have you considered suing chad for the bad advice he gave you?

If he was dumb enough to work with The Chad, it's his own fault.

When it was suggested that he put his name on the kidney recipient's waiting list before he started working with him, that should have been a clue.

of course king is at fault, but a clever lawyer might be able to build a case against Chad.

The way King looks it is obvious that he has suffered quite a bit.  That shoul make him a sympathetic plaintiff

King, good luck in the future and keep up the hard work.

You seem to be asking for a fresh start but they won't give it to you. Most of your comments seem to indicate that the past is the past and it is time to move forward.

As you have stated there are weakness in your body but which BB doesn't have a weakness?  If you didn't place in the money then it doesn't matter, which means 6-15 = $0

Naked forJesus: Shawn Ray is obsessed with me and nearly had a heart attack knowing I might get qualified for the O. His Vyotech buddy Will slid in right in the nick of time. I have some interesting text messages saved on a computer file that will talk about next week.. Again, it should be intersting. Actually my trunks were giving me a wedgy by themselves and once or twice I pulled them up to show lines in my glutes... I believe Ronnie and many other guys do the same.. Did I clear things up for you?

Fair enough.  Why don't you come train at Strong & Shapely gym it's a lot bigger and much more hardcore than the NYSC.  Stop by and check it out, you'll never go back to the NYSC I guarantee it.

The only way he's to move forward is to leave Chad in his past before he kills him!

I trained at several NYSC around midtown for a couple of years but ever increasing gay population and ultra crowded afterwork crowds were not worth the 84 bucks a month I was paying Strong & Shapely is a hell of a lot cheaper and bigger. 25,000 square feet of awesome equipment.

Edit: I just read this entire thread. I'll have to give a tip-of-the-hat and credit to King, for addressing the board and responding to individual post.

Mr. Kamali, professional bodybuilding is a strange sport... good luck in the future.

he did better than he has in the past year or so and he's not nearly as confrontational as he used to be, yet he still catches nonstop shit for it. i swear the guy would have to be mr olympia and personally send each and every one of you a cake and a case of beer to get cut some slack.

a disappointing showing considering 2001, but a good one considering 2005. take that as you will.

Call the man.  I've spoken with more than one pro on the phone at this point clarifying what I've said here or there.

King is right about one thing though - he never talked shit this time out, it was disgusted who did.  Disgusted's credibility is gone now so hopefully he never chimes in again like this.  I think he got King in shit because disgusted talked like he was going to be #1.  Now if he said he was top 10 or top six or maybe even top five material this wouldn't be an issue - hell maybe even top three (it wasn't too far off, only a few spots), but you can't expect to tout someone as the new champion unless they deliver.  If they don't, expect to reap the consequences of that.

Disgusted was owned.  Serves him right.

First off Matt, I never "talked shit". I made a bet with Sean based on him saying King would not make the top 5. Sean later backed out on terms. Secondly, I didn't lose any credibilty since I never was looking for any. King placed 6th which was one spot out of the money as far as qualifying for the Olympia and me winning a bet, not a bad placing as far as the level of competition. King was extremely dry and ripped. He was also flatter than I would have liked to have seen him and I have let him know this. King kept his mouth shut the whole entire time as you said and took his placing well. He looked great and will continue to improve.

If you want him to continue to improve, have him come in about 10-15lbs lighter to regain some of his symmetry and in the offseason he shouldn't get any heavier than 25lbs more than his show weight and start training like a bodybuilder rather than a powerlifter!!

Hey King

Greetings from Canada!

Excellent job in NYC.  You looked great.  The time off you took paid off.  You were looking dry and had some great seperation.  I dont know why people are saying horvath should have placed higher than you?  he looked good as well but you had him beat.  Prime example look at the back shot...you had some great detail going on man.  Horvath was just to smooth.

Anyway great job keep it up..dont let the critics and doubter get to you... you inspire people to be better in the gym.  Those who doubt you could never hang and bang weights with the king.

What show do you plan on rolling into next?

disgusted, are you king's new trainer ?

No, But I would like to comment on his training. I have always been straight up about King on this board. Some of you guys come on hear and accuse him of doing synthol, insulin and abusing other things. So here is the scoop for what it is worth. King training for this show for many months and did not use any insulin and NO!!!!! diuretics for this show. King's prep was totally new territory for him and I give him props. He learned a lot about his body this time out. You have to remember that when you are used to doing things one way for many years you are not going to nail it the first time when you totally change things around. I give him a lot of credit for having the guts to make a change. He will continue to make improvements and learn from this contest prep.

Can't argue with that. I have always believed that one should get smaller and stay learn in the offseason. The days of King getting fat in the offseason have been long gone.

ahh ok, my bad.  I thought the bet was for first place.

Fifth is pretty reasonable.  Then again who ever denied King was capable of getting fifth?  He has always been capable of fifth at a second tier show like the NY Pro if he comes in "ON".  I still think he can qualify for the Olympia if he plays his cards right.

Actually, Sean said King was not capable heance the bet.

most of the top pros have this same problem, they just have to be mindfull of their pose transitions. if he brings his legs/arms up a little and keeps improving his conditioning then he should be good.
